I thought Hill negated that himself with illegal contact...

1 INT stood , they other got negated by Will himself for defensive holding.

jernigan was another play on the raiders final drive.

I knew there was one he messed up himself.

Just a mess of a game

What a read that was. It's easy to understand why he was a captain in San Diego. Props to Bisciotti and co. for how they run the team, very proud to be a Ravens fan when you hear things like this about why a player chose this team over all the others.

Haha, "Are there any knuckleheads on the team I'll be expected to help?"

I wish I could see the answer.

Well as a matter of fact you're about to replace one.....

That's a really interesting read (not often I say that about Bleacher Report). It's interesting how, as quiet as the team is on the media front, they don't dither around in the process.

I love how the guy's a multimillionaire but he flew Southwest - that, kids, is how you stay a multimillionaire.

I'd also appreciate the advice on how to become one in the first place.

Ryanair?

I may be in the minority but I don't like it for the price.  4 years, 26M to add a 14th safety to the roster.  I guess we'll see how many safeties are getting cut soon.  I'm guessing Lewis, Elam, and Hill.

For the record I'm fine with the player, just not the price

Purple City don't be afraid to be on an island. I don't know any of these posters so please continue to have your opinion. This site is already dominated by guys who can't think for themselves let alone formulate an opinion based on evidence and reasoning.

He is over paid and we just stuck with another bad contract. Honestly I think the next few years will we waste because of bad deals that will "cost" too much to get out of.

Are you under the impression he paid for these tickets to fly to Baltimore?

Forgot to mention,  I live out here in San Diego,  so many fans are extremely pissed about the way they treated Weddle.   He was a great person in the community and everyone I've talked to is mad that he won't retire a charger.

I'm glad we have a veteran back there, especially now that Will HIll is gone even though I did not really see him as much of a leader on our team. Really good off season despite the KO loss and Walker accident.

These veterans are going to prove to be strong signings this year I guarantee it.

  •   I'm not sure about a 32 year old Weddle. He was a very good safety earlier in his career.
  • Our guys have little to no experience on the backend of the defense. Weddle looked a little shaky last season. I hope the change of scenery is all he needs. Either way, he is an upgrade to what we have now.  Welcome Weddle!!!

I am super pumped up about Weddle wearing purple. He will be like a white Ed Reed back there, and will bring a whole new mindset to our secondary. Hopefully he will get these young guys studying and breaking down the same amount of film that he does. If Webby hangs, and is not a cap casualty, we are going to have a nuch better defense this year.

I don't think there's much worry about that.  There's a clear commitment to him at S.

Weddle is just what the back end needed, a good QB with ball skills. Communication will improve and hopefully we gain some stability all around. A bonus that he and Wright were together in SD for 4 years.

Nice read. I'd also like to think the Ravens fan base in SD had something to do with it. I would say that's thats the largest fan base outside of Baltimore and I can't imagine him not noticing.

Is it really? I know SD has a home field DISadvantage, but that's interesting.
