[News] John Harbaugh Responds To Kelechi Osemele's Departure

8 posts in this topic

We all loved you here in Baltimore! Unfortunately we didn't have enough cap space to get into a bidding war to keep you here. I'm sure the Raiders fans will love you too, and unfortunately, we'll have to get along without you. But next man up ! Good luck in CA.

I wish he would have simply cashed out and kept it classy. Heck he earned every penny. OTOH Baltimore stuck with him when his body was failing.

Osemele, Trevathan, Malik Jackson - it's becoming the "in thing" to cashout , sign a big contract and then take jabs at the team you were happy with just a week prior.

Did we really have to play KO at Left Tackle for those last couple games? Not only did we price him out of a guard contract, but we let the whole league get a chance to see how good he was. Another strange coaching decision.

Ozzie mentioned that it allow him to maximize his value to the league. i think they came to terms with him leaving right after Yanda got his deal done.

Great OL but he was always nicked up. he will never complete a whole season. not worth paying top line dollars if you cant finish out the season.

Hate to see him go but can't blame him. NFL is a business. Raiders forked out a boatload and got a good football player. Nothing liking plucking another teams player to weaken them and strengthen your team. But I've heard some cry about the compensatory picks. It's there for a reason. Just like the salary cap.
