[News] Joey Bosa Improves During Pro Day

24 posts in this topic

Thats awesome. But Im still not worried bout 40 yrd dash for a Pass Rusher(Remember Sizzle) 10 yrd split more important..BOSA was second fastest at Combine. So he has the speed on the edge or inside etc to get to a QB..3-5-7 Steps dropbacks..

He honestly kind of reminded me of Gronk in his interview at the Combine. Guy sounds like such a meat-head lol. Seems like a decent player though, wish him luck.

Well if the Browns trade for Kap, the likelihood of Bosa falling to us equals that of being struck by lightning.

Yes, that trade would really suck. If that happens, there is a strong chance that no QBs are picked ahead of us. That would present the worst case draft scenario.

I have no doubt we will acquire instant coffee with our pick at number 6. If Deforrest Bucknor is there at 6 i could see us picking him. Can you imagine a defensive line with Brandon Williams,Timmy Jernigan and Bucknor. Do you guys realize how much this line would positively affects our pass rushers (Suggs,Doom,Smith) and our secondary. You know you gonna have to double team Brandon Williams,  imagine Suggs, Doom,Jernigan and Bucknor having one on one match up.That's equals mismatch all day. As much as i am beginning to like Bosa, I know there's no way we can him and Bucknor. A guy i really, really, really love is Kevin Dodd. IT would be an absolutely dream come trough scenario if some way we could move back into the first round (including trading next year 1st round, hopefully 32nd pick :) ,) to get this guy. I am telling you guys KEVIN DODD will become a star in the NFL. He can rush, he can set the edge, he can drop back and cover, he can sniffs out screens. With the cap we now have i would definitely sign Mike Wallace if possible, and draft a guy like Kolby Listenbee in the later rounds, hence taking care of the wrs group. I would keep Munroe and try to get Jason Spriggs in the second round if possible. hence taking care of our O-line. (BTW, getting Dodd i would be willing to give up next years 1st, this year 3rd round and a 4th round or two to get him.). we could then use our two other 4th round picks (compensatory) to at least get a MLB and add dept with the rest of our picks. We still have more than enough cap to extend Brandon and sign Weddle if we want. Keep in mind we gonna cut Pitta and Lewis. i think our secondary , with the addition of Frazier and the resigning of Arrington will be good to go. This is my take. What do you guys think?

giving up next years first to move 8 to 10 spots up in the draft is a terrible idea.

@glen ferguson l like your thinking it makes it exciting but Ozzie probably won't trade back in the first round to get Kevin Dodd. Ozzie definitely doesn't want to take a first round pick in next year draft. They should go after Eric Weddle before someone else gets him. Weddle and Will Hill will be a great combo. Weddle could be the deep saftey FS and Will Hill could be the SS and can substitute Webb from time to time. But according to Baltimore Sun, the Ravens should acquire Weddle because they have the cap space to do it so l hope Ozzie consider trying to sign him. Even Mike Wallace if they can.

I actually meant drafting DeForrest Bucknor at #6 first and then trading back into the first to get Kevin Dodd.

Explain to me why this would be a terrible idea? I can't see why! If we acquire the players i think we should target (especially Dodd) our need for next year (2017) would be virtually ZERO. we would be set in all areas, O-Line, D-LIne, WRs, Pass rushers, Rb,Qb,. Remember this will be pick number 32 in next years draft. I respect your opinion , but i still think Dodd is an exceptional Player worthy of such transaction.

Wow, Bryant is facing a one year suspension. Mike Wallace Value is about to go up. More reason for us to get him now if we can.

Don't worry Pitts will have a plan something the Ravens have been lacking for sometime. Ravens have become reactionary instead of being visionary

My whole thing about drafting Joey Bosa is that we still have talent that has not yet played. Kapron Lewis Moore and Brent Urban are valuable replacement for Chris Canty. Kapron lewis Moore considering he is supposed to be at 1st 2nd round talent when drafted. In any case I would rather draft Myles Jack for the same reason the Ravens would draft Jalen Ramsey... He can play multiple positions...

First you can't just assume that we will be picking at 32 next year. You also can't assume that Spriggs or Dodd are going to magically fix our defensive and offensive troubles. And on top of all of that you assume that certain players are going to be there in certain rounds. The Draft just isn't that predictable. Mortgaging the teams future by giving away the first round pick and expecting all of these drafted players to fix all of our problems is just not feasible. We are going to have just as may holes next year and being with out the first rounder we would have less ways to fill them.

i think that if we don't get Buckner or Bosa, then we will go with an OL.  Too bad there isn't anyone like Ogden in the draft this year.

I would prefer Bosa or Buckner over Jack simply because of the injury.  Any one of them may be available when we pick.  The only way we would trade up would be to grab Ramsey or Tunsil, but the cost would be enormous.
