Loyalty? Wake up! He helped himself (and the team). This is a business partnership, but just because it's business doesn't mean there aren't relationships built. Ever had a friendship with a boss? He can still hire and fire you as needed.

Looking at how Yanda thinks about being a team member when it comes to contract issues and how Ngata did, I can only hope that Marshal will be on the Ring of Honor sooner than Haloti.

Much sooner.

i wonder what the Ravens plans are? K.O might have agreed but he didn't sign yet which could cause him to return. Or they're making room for more pieces than usual.

Love it... IT was a win / win for Yanda and us... but thankful that he is willing to do what it takes to help out. The June 1st Pitta cut (that the Ben Watson signing signifies). should put us in a pretty good position to bring in some help!

I think KO is gone... We have Urschel who can be a starter and be a good one. I am thinking we are drafting Tunsil or Stanley (both of who we see as an immediate starter, in round one. Maybe not as sexy of a pick as Ramsey or Bosa but to land a starting LT for the next four years who will play under a rookie contract -really helps out the future cap situation plus we have identified at least 2 other CBs who we like - that should be available with the # 34 pick. (and cleared enough money to possibly bring in help in the pass rushing dept.)

jensen outplayed Urschel last year by a lot.

Yanda a true Raven! So.....what's all the maneuvering about Oz? Hummmm....highly unusual moves for Ravens front office in FA, first Watson, making bigtime cap room.....o.0 The plot thickens! GO RAVENS!

Yes he certainly is. But, I can be a really true employee too if my employer gives me my entire annual salary on my first day at work! Just kidding. I am glad Yanda worked with the Ravens.

What are you saying? Once the agent, K.O and the team agree in principle to a contract, it's pretty much set in stone.

Nope, KO's gone. And, as many have pointed out, it would have been stupid to try and compete with the kind of fool's money contract offers he got from the Raiders and Vikings. He's gonna be missed - but that's the NFL... Every team loses key players season after season. The good ones survive, the bad ones don't.

No need to see plots in this IMHO. Ben Watson was a value pickup, as we may be down to one of our current TE crop at the beginning of the season with Boyle suspended and Gillmore's surgeries - and no true veteran presence in the TE study room. Ben Watson can fill both roles.

Ozzie apparently valued him enough to to be willing to part way with a comp pick for him... That should say a lot.

As much as I liked Ngata, I have to agree. Still love what Ngata did for the Ravens. Big part of 2012 SB run.

I thought the Watson signing was excellent. And then to sign Weddle and Wallace. Placing a second round tender on Aiken was brilliant. I hope he gets paid. He deserves it.
