What do you folks think about our WR depth chart for 2016? Will we draft a WR?

This years WR draft class seems really bad. We'll have to rely on SSS (coming back from a major injury and ageing), BP (coming back from a season long injury, that just wouldn't heal right and also unproven) and Mike Wallace (may be on the downturn of his carreer). It's still probably one our better WR groups. Gosh, we're so bad at creating passing offenses. I dread Joe Flaccos retirement, when we'll go back to looking for a franchise QB. -_-

I actually thought the passing offense was pretty good last year considering all the injuries. Trestman did a really good job creating space and match ups imo.

Obviously injury had something to do with it but the Ravens had 8 different players catch 30 or more passes. Without injury I wonder how numbers would have turned out. Even without injuries this year I think the numbers will continue to be spread out because of all the talent. I'm really excited to see how Trestman uses this offense.

I must be slow to acclimate--I'm still reading "BP" initially as Bernard Pierce

You aren't alone in that.

More that that.  I am still stuck on J.J. being Jaret Johnson, and not Jacoby Jones.

I'm with you here. Also, the addition of Wallace, Watson and (hopefully) Perriman should help tremendously. The question mark for me is the health and play of Monroe and how the line in general deals with the loss of KO.

I agree, that Trestman and Joe did a good job, even if Flacco was more prone to make more mistakes than in Kubiaks offense. But, I am talking about the talent surrounding them.

I agree here, i thought it was hilarious after week 1 people were already questioning his playcalling.

Not for everyone.

But even that. Some people here come up with nicknames and I sometimes have no clue who we are talking about.

Laughing bc i still do the same with that and the BP. We cant keep recycling these nicknames just bc they fit. Gotta get new ones when new players come through or not waste them on bit players (referring to BP.... not Jaret or Jacoby).

Alot of people went DT with Deonte Thompson.... but Deangelo Tyson was more deserving (though still prob not the best usage).

Just thought of a new nickname - though admittedly its stupid. Steve Smith Senior... you see a lot of SSS, so S-Cubed which is S to the third power, but also cubed as in "Ice Up Son." Stupid, but it does work.

I really like the Wallace signing and I think BP will return healthy and have a big impact. Those guys creating space will allow a ton of room for RAC. The oline is certainly a concern. I like both Jensen and Urschel on the interior. LT will certainly have to be addressed.

Oh OK. I agree the talent wasn't really top notch. But if it comes together I think it could be. If both Maxx and BP hit from last year's draft to go alone with Gilmore that's a nice trio of pass catchers surrounding Joe. Then if Camp can stay healthy or a guy like Shepard is added that would add a game changer. Even though he's not officially on the team I think T. Rich could really take this offense over the top of he regains form.

So what do you folks think our WR depth chart will be now? With the addition of Chris Moore and Keenan Reynolds.... There a lot that could happen now. Keenan takes campanaro's spot? Man this next couple months will be interesting. Who will imerge as our #1 WR? Bottom line, I think no one can say now that we don't have enough possible weapons for Flacco! The possibilities and talent is there.

Ravens have receivers but it is about quality receivers that can all beat a secondary on any given play. As opposed to make a play and tease you then not be heard from for a while. It is about a group of receivers that opposing defenses fear on to make plays on consistent basis. Ravens have a trio of young fast playmakers that have skills to become a very effective and explosive group. Perriman, Campanaro and Chris Moore could be a trio that produces a top 3 offense with dominant oline play and run game. The trio can run fast and sharp routes to create separation and make tough plays on the football. The trio could make tough catches intermediate and big play speed
