Wallace would be OK , if he comes at a great price and he checks his ego at the door. (I don't see either one happening) Would like to see us make a run at DB B Grimes , he was cut so it wouldn't affect the comp picks, He's is a gritty player I have liked him since his Atlanta days

What's the deal with Kelvin Beachum? That is the guy that would be a great pick up. McLeod would be awesome too but he's gone! Mike Wallace may be a good pick up at the right price. He would add a great speed element with Perriman to our offense much like Torrey and Jacoby did.

I don't if you would want the drama that comes with Brent Grimes meaning his wife. She should be banned from games if your going to continue to show your ignorance. I don't think she understands how she could possibly cancel this man's career by being so overbearing and childish.

We need to address our secondary, and I really think Brent Grimes would be a nice pick up, or Eric Weddle for that matter. We need someone back there. After all things that happen after the draft, like your first draft pick getting hurt for the season before he even plays a preseason game or something like that, I have no faith in some top draft picks. Wouldn't mind getting a few more players out of Free Agency, but we'll see.

What do you all think about bringing back boldin as a Receiver yeah he's getting old but he had such a good chemistry with Joe that I think he would also be a good Receiver especially on 3rd downs or Goal line situations.

Even though our goal is to get younger and faster, I would love Anquan to come back home for 2 or 3 years. He can still play, he has a lot left in the tank.

@EvilWayz l agree with you. I was almost thinking what you was thinking in this article l believe? Ozzie should squeeze in getting Mike Wallace, Brent Grimes, and Eric Weddle and he could be finish in free agency. If get 2 out of the 3 get Brent Grimes and Eric Weddle. Eric Weddle and Will Hill will be a perfect combo and better one than Webb and Will Hill. Webb could come in as substitute now and then rotate with Weddle. Then focus and getting Joey Bosa or Buckner in the draft to get us some young blood at Passrusher than the defense will be set for next year.

Looks like Grimes to Bucs and Weddle to Raiders.

@Ali624 dang it thanks for the information. :-) Ozzie could've sign; Grimes 2 year 16.5M that is a good price. Could've gotten him. Eric Weddle hasn't been signed yet but it's expected to go to the Raiders so he still a free agent. :-)

why we have so many tight ends.. we really just need about 3 or 4 maybe.

Pitta is probably going to retire, Gillmore might not be ready for training camp and Boyle will be suspended the first 10 games. That only leaves Williams and Watson.

I would be disappointed if Weddle doesn’t choose the Ravens over the other teams. I would be devastated if he picks the Steelers!

Waller is switching to TE, so he'll be around too.

I don't know why with the 15 mil cap space we have we haven't pulled the trigger on Wallace and Weddle. 15 mil would easily cover their first year cap and then when we cut Pitta and Monroe post June 1 we will get another 7-10 mil to cover draft picks and still have a couple to play with. Not only that but if we add Webb to that list if he won't take a pay cut we can save another 2 or 3 mil with him. Wallace won't count against comp picks but Weddle will but in a year where we are only losing KO to free agency (doubt if Schaub's salary puts him in that category) we aren't going to get any anyway.

Yes that was the point of clearing up cap space to spend it all immediately on aging players. Don't worry about singing the up and comers to long term deals like B.Williams or J.Tucker or addressing needs once the roster is taking shape. Knee jerk reactions almost never pan out, best to always have a plan and stick to it.

Yeah, I saw that article 5 minutes after I made the comment. If he can learn to block it could be a smart move for Waller, but kind of a weird to for Harbaugh to suggest the change.

I would love to have Weddle, but Oz will not overpay , stick to our guns , if EWeddle wants to be part of the best organization in football , he chooses the Ravens, if he wants to be part of a cluster---- then he goes to the raiders

I have to disagree looking at majority of these pick ups for the Ravens...
Mike Wallace could work maybe, but the reason the Ravens got a speedy receiver was because they needed a deep threat to stretch the field, make the offense 3 dimensional, and keep defenses from blitzing and playing 8 in the box. You have Perriman and Flacco is not very accurate throwing the ball. He would do better with one speedy receiver and two possession that can break tackles and get yards after the catch. Eric Weddle at Safety is too crowded. Ladarius Webb still getting paid CB $$$ for FS. Plus Elam and Brooks. Beachum is a Steelers OL and they always get hurt leading to Ben getting hurt. No problem with the guard situation that maybe worth it.

I don't think anyone is going to pay Wallace big money, and he is only going to be effective with a qb that can consistently get the ball down the field with accuracy, which limits the amount of teams that will probably be interested. If he turns down the Ravens' offer, he might find that no one else is offering any more.

Get Weddle Ozzie, l'll be so happy. :-)

While I think he could help the team, I think our cap space could be better spent elsewhere. I am confident in Webb and Hill, and we have a ton of safeties competing for depth. We have players at or near the end of their rookie contracts that we need to get signed and we have bigger holes at other positions.

Wallace is one of the - if not THE best receivers on the market. I don't see why he would accept a "low-budget" deal at this point. If it was August, maybe... but on the first week of free agency?

Probably - but TE is currently our most crwoded position, with 9 people on the roster (Pitta, Gillmore, Williams, Boyle, Reisner, Watson, Waller, Spears and Ford).
At least 4-5 of these are no longer gonna be on the roster by Week #1, but it's still gonna be an uphill battle for Waller, especially if Gillmore can come back Week#1 or not much later. Frankly, I don't see many snaps for him yet, unless injuries put him higher on the depth chart - or he makes huge steps forward at his new position.

Plus Reisner, plus Ford, plus Spears - if they are retained.
