why not have Jensen at LG and keep Urschel at Center?

unless urschel learns how to snap consistently then you cant do it. very unheralded part of a centers game but we saw last year when he caused what... 3 jumbled snaps in one game?

He got better towards the end of the year.

I wonder if we may try Jensen at LT. He played there in preseason and he didn't look all that bad.

I think Urschel is plan A for the new guard spot. He's a good backup C and got better, but not enough to take the job from Yanda.

I'd rather give him the shot to back up Monroe than keeping Hurst as the backup LT.

Oh and as far as developmental tackles go that we could pick up, I like Fahn Cooper, the guy that took over for Tunsil at LT of Ole Miss while he was suspended. He looked pretty at at the East West Shrine game.

I would think they'd have to drop some weight on him.  It was his position in college, and was dominant while doing it.  He has good footwork and lateral speed.  I am sure if he was tasked to do it, he would do an effective job.  I would hope that make up their minds and place him at a position and let him develop at it.  They've kept him jumbled around in positions for the past two years.  The game he had to jump into the tackle position last year, he had not practiced it at all in camp.  He took 92 snaps in that game and  faired pretty well.  If they focused him on the tackle position, I am sure he would show a very solid ability to play it.

With Jensen at his last year as an ERFA, I am certain a backup role will not sit well with him.  My guess is he goes all in at LG and steamrolls the competition.  If they have any inkling of having him play Tackle, they should give him substational reps during OTA's at that position.

Dude Jensen is awesome!! His 3cone  is better than Shane Rays!! His shuttle is rare as well His natural power is rare as well. He did like 31 reps without being a big time weight room warrior at the time. It is all natural power. He has the power of a top guard and the athleticism of a left tackle.  He is going to get considered for all pro at guard. However not having length would be a problem at left tackle. My opinion is left guard is his best position. Would like to see him there and Urschel at center. However if a complete left tackle is not found it would negate their dominance.
