Myles Jack MLB

51 posts in this topic

I like Jack as a player, but I don't see him as a fit for this team unless we're switching to a 4-3 (specifically a Tampa 2).  I think using him in a 3-4 would be a waste of his talents, and with the rest of the personnel we have it probably wouldn't make a lot of sense.

Personally I'm pulling for Ramsey, Bosa, or Buckner.

I though the same until I did my due diligence on the kid. What you're talking about is actually much closer to jaylon Smith than Myles Jack.

the ONLY concern I have with this guy would be health and whether or not he can stay healthy. This guy very quickly becomes THE guy and I believe the next great Raven defender.

We cannot pass this guy up if for some reason he makes it to us.

How is putting him in the middle of our defense and letting him roam wasting his talents? We would be wasting his talents if we did anything else with him.

Edit: Except maybe put him at RB

I think at #6 going with the BPA is more important than ever for the Ravens, because unless you get a total bust or someone who doesn't fit into the team, you're almost certainly getting a game-changer. Jack could be that guy. (Of course a lot of guys could be that guy, but Jack too)

Before the combine, everyone wanted Ramsey to fall but we all said no way he's getting past jags.

now we're settled for jack and  everyone's saying no way he's getting past jags.

I hate the jags.

Apparently the Chargers had 7 employees at his pro day today.

The only thing i think he's missing is top instincts in the run game.

That's why we have Mosely. Jack and Mosley compliment each other ridiculously well. They're a match made in heaven haha

After his pro day, I think we can all consider him gone by the time we pick.

Welcome to my world since I live in (somewhat) Jags country.

With Will Hill cut, i want Jack a lot more than I did, he could fill the role Hill did covering TEs and such, and I really think he could still be there at 6 I mean ILBs rarely go in the top 5 and considering he's still injured I think there's a possibility he makes it to 6, it's all gonna depend on the jags, but if Ozzie sees Jack as the talent that everyone is hyping him up to be I'd try to pull a trade up with Dallas if the Browns don't go QB in the first.

Jack is my favorite player in the draft. During his pro day he did good but not great. Understandingly because he was favoriting his knee. He said he's 80% but will be 100% by week 1. I hope that drops him to 6. Our d is already good. With Weddle and Webb on the back end and with Jack at linebacker. Then we take a CB in the second or 3rd our D would be stacked. We finished top 10 last yr with back ups and our offense not letting the d rest. If our offense can keep the d off the field for a couple more minutes of game time we would hands down top 3

I wish he would have at least done the cone drill at his pro day. I guess he is only going to do private workouts closer to the draft.

He just got cleared from doctors. Is only 80% right now. He did well on his pro day. I believe by preseason he will be the best player in this draft.

All Jack had was a torn meniscus in his knee. No worse than a broken toe. Repaired with arthroscopic surgery. I had it done myself.

 Jack will be a bust:

I like how the article states how he will be used by the team that drafts him, genius.

I also had the same surgery, its not an issue as you said.  I don't think hes a bust by any means

What I got from the article is how his skill set does not fit in the pro style defense.
