Suggs arrested (minor)

Better be minor!

Edit - He had an accident..the cops came and he had a suspended license.  So they booked and released him, that's it. License is suspended for unpaid speeding tickets, ha.

Seems it could be disorderly conduct or something similar.  Was arrested at a bar at 2:00, booked and then released within about an hour.

Glad to hear it was minor. An offseason full of arrests after last season would be terrible.

Okay that is not as bad at least. We really don't need more arrests though

That's it? For a second I thought it was worse than that. Can't wait for the media to take a non story and blow it out of proportion to make us look bad.

Was he even really arrested?  TMZ had that in the headline but the article simply says detained.  There is a difference between cops arresting you and detaining you

Is a suspended license REALLY worth being arrested over? Don't cops have enough to do? Guess Arizona doesn't have much going on.

You get arrested if you get pulled over with a suspended license. I don't believe the cop has a choice in that, not to mention he's just doing his job lol. Either way, it's a none issue. Just TMZ making a big deal out of nothing like usual.

Sizzle's Instagram post about the incident is kind of dumb though.

If this and Boyle are the only off field issue we have before the season starts, I'll take it.

I mean... what's the alternative?

Give him a ticket for having a suspended license which was likely caused by not paying the original tickets to begin with? So basically give him another ticket that he won't pay?

Well, they also have to ensure that people are following the law.

Not suggesting its a serious offense by any stretch, but arresting somebody for doing it is really the only reasonable response.

Imagine you or somebody you know getting seriously hurt in an accident (possibly a DUI or just a normal accident) from a driver who's had their license suspended and was recently "ticketed" for driving while suspended and told "please don't do this again sir".

If they took his license away, it was for a very valid reason. That means you don't drive. He violated that rule, and so he was detained/arrested.

Standard protocol.

Many laws are made for money making gimmicks. I agree speeding tickets can be  serious. But at same time there are speed traps of countless kinds to bait people into speeding. Or give the illusion of speeding. So yeah could be serious or could be some money making scam to reach in the pockets.
