Ok so the "VH3 or Buckner" talk is all I have in mind recently. Assuming VH3 is the best corner to come out in 4 years (which I have read but can't really judge), my main concern is that he becomes Claiborne 2.0, meaning a talented guy that never reaches his ceiling because of injuries. Can anyone give me reasons why that won't happen, so I can evaluate better who's the best pick?

Thanks in advance

You can't predict injuries so all you can do is go off of history. Vh3 has never been injured as far as I know, and he is built very solid and compact and is an extremely fluid player with loose hips and his ankles and knees appear to be rock solid when you see him swivel and change directions. I didn't do any evaluation of Claiborne so idk about a comparison but vh3 doesn't appear to be injury prone at this point.

Well I have say, for over a year I've dreamed of Ramsey but it's highly unlikely at this point. Yesterday I viewed at least 10 different mock drafts that have now boldly put Ramsey at #1 overall with reports of Titans being in love with him but unable to trade back as they would prefer.

VH3 - doesn't seem to get the love I feel he deserves as a Top 10 Prospect. I would rather us draft him before picking Stanley. Hargreaves could potentially be a day 1 starter opposite of J.Smith or at the very least play nickel early on.

Myles Jack - could also be a very interesting prospect. I'm not sure if he would play next to Mosley or how we would use his versatility. ( I can't remember where I read it but I read that chargers and Ravens both had jack doing DB drills at a workout.  Anyone truth to this?)

The only player in this draft worth trading up for may be Tunsil, but we won't do it. No make that we can't afford to do it. Because we aren't going to have too many picks next year. No comps and we'll be drafting at #32 in the first round.

Hey I love that thinking there.

The Chargers 100% had Jack doing DB workouts, not sure on Ravens though.

This is what he said:

"(The Chargers) really envision me as a DB," Jack recently told the San Diego Union-Tribune. "Even at my pro day, toward the end, they kind of jumped in and had me do DB drills. They really envision me there. ... They feel like I can fill that spot Eric Weddle was at. Obviously, they want me at a lower weight, but with my skill set, they can see me in the slot, covering and running."

I think unless Ramsey somehow falls to us the pick will be Joey Bosa. If all the top defensive prospects are gone and Ozzie really believes that Ezekiel Elliot is a once in a decade RB I don't think it would be a bad pick. As long as the pick is not Ronnie Stanley I'd be pretty happy. I'm also not 100% sold on Buckner, when you watch him play he gets phased out of the play more often than not.

At this point, I think the pick will either be Bosa or Buckner, depending on which one is there.

Myles Jack!!! I love this kid, he is what we need to become better as a defense. I've been seeing his highlights and he is very quick at tackling. Another major key is that he is an excellent at coverage. His versatility makes him a valuable first pick. He can play it all. We can put him in coverage against the pass and he is an outstanding run stopper. He will really be a good fit to the ravens and a great duo next to Mosley.

I strongly believe a trade back is most likely.

Would love it if we trade with the Rams and somehow still ended up with Treadwell at 15. Think Ozzie could get em for a 1,2 & 3 since they have two 2nd round picks and in this scenerio, added pressure to not let Goff/Wentz fall to 49ers.

I also have a strong feeling Wentz & Goff go 2 & 3. Either scenerio we're sitting pretty.

Imagine all those draft picks.

At this point... unless Bosa, Jack or Buckner fall to us, I think we're going to pick VH3 or a possible trade back (which at that point is a guessing game) IF we reach a trade back scenario, we're in complete trust of the OZ. In Ozzie we trust lol

On top of this, VH3 is a technician, and Morris is a certifiable moron.

It seems to me the Chargers seem to be all in for Jack. If that is true and it is also true that the Titans may pick Ramsey at the top of the draft, I'm thrilled and here's why.

Titans - Ramsey

Browns - Wentz

Chargers - Jack

Cowboys - Bosa

Jaguars - Buckner or VH3

Ravens - TUNSIL!

Still I can't fathom 5 teams passing on a phenomenal talent like Tunsil though. But still....

I'm hoping eagles really want a QB and trade up 2 spots to jump 49ers. Is that a extra 2nd round pick in value or what I'm not sure

Possibly the only trade back option I'd consider. We should still be able to get Hargreaves with it, and a 2nd pick to go along and potentially trade up in the 1st... Hmm yeah Ii like it

So you're saying theres a chance? I just don't understand the Chargers passing on Tunsil when all Rivers does is get hit over and over.... Their offensive line has struggled so much the last 2 years at least... I mean if they think Jack is a generational player I guess.. But in my mind Tunsil is the safest option in this draft..

So the Jags would take Buckner/VH3 over Tunsil, with their OL? No way. I know they signed Beachum but no way.

Kendall Fuller in the 3rd is very optimistic, but otherwise it's cool

Sua would need to put on 15-20 lbs for that. Wonder if he can

He wouldn't be a legit ILB. why does everyone assume that He would be a traditional ilb...

He would be a hybrid who is there specifically to shut down TEs and take away the seams in general, along With blizting and blowing up screens, taking as much coverage liability off of Mosley and our 2 true safeties, allowing the safeties to jump routes and force turnover and allowing Mosley to stay in zone rather than try to run downfield with wrs and tes

Nice mock, it addresses several of the team's needs. Fuller in the third would be lucky but players always fall.

exactly, just like Bucannon.. he's played so much in the box that he's considered a lb but he's clearly no Mike nor Sam nor prototypical ILB.. Jack wouldn't be an ILB either but they're perfect for the nickle.

Elliot shouldn't even be considered at 6 for us. I would be livid.

Apparently the Ravens are talking about it

Morris was an absolute technician in college and had nearly flawless technique. When Patrick Peterson was asked to describe their tandem, he called himself the playmaker and Morris the technician

They also have Joeckel. I would be shocked if they didn't draft for their defense to fit Gus Bradley's vision

Joeckel's in Last Chance Saloon (and he's lucky to be there), and Beachum's essentially a one-year rental if they choose not to pick up his option. I don't think they'd pass up Tunsil just because they have a couple of stop-gaps atm. They've talked about putting Joeckel at LG, so I think they could make something work for a year. And that's assuming he's even there - where I think it'd be more likely that the Cowboys trade 1.4.

I usually try to be open to all possibilities, but Tunsil falling to 6 is just fantasyland talk.
