No doubt about it. Please SD take Stanley off the damn board.

The new rule may have a lot of teams second guessing taking certain tackles. The elimination of the chop block from all aspects seems to make the line of zone blocking teams pourous and tenuous. A lot of adjustments will have to be made. In fact I don't know how it will look going forward. Especially this year. Ding & Dunk? Option? being the most most successful? It's going to shake up quite a few boards. Elliot would be best player available but Hargreaves should outweigh him as BPA @ a position of need.

Let's trade up with the Chargers and get exactly who we want.

Wishful thinking...

Would be all about trading up for Ramsey or Tunsil for that matter if we didn't have so many holes from previous draft busts

Hargreaves or Buckner please

Those two names are realistic and worth a #6 pick. Mularkey was quoted recently stating Ramsey could be their guy at #1 so he's most likely the most sought after guy for any team. Don't see him even making it to #3.

Clowney is how I feel about Bosa.  I'd love to see someone compare their scouting reports.  I would try but using this site on my phone is bout as productive as  solar powered flashlight

Bosa doesn't take plays off.  They are nothing alike.

I don't know if he takes plays off but when a play gets two or three yards away He is often lackadaisical in pursuit.

I can't agree with you and imo he's relentless and with his multiple moves and great usage of hands feel he is going to be very good at the next level. Also like his ability to rush from the inside as a 34de in 5 tech and as an olb.

Its td also quite possible he drops to us.

I just meant in the fact everyone was in love with Clowney when he was coming out and he didn't live up to his draft slot.  I feel the same about Bosa, just a hunch/weird feeling.  I should of clarified.

Bosa has a high motor and gets in to make plays on every down. He also has far superior technique now than Clowney after two years in the pros. Clowney is a physical specimen with a lack of pass rushing moves and technique to battle superior talent.

I love that Ray Lewis called it on draft day and everyone thought he was crazy. He said if he were the Houston Texans then he would easily select Khalil Mack and everyone on the broadcast said oh no, that's too early. No way should Houston pass on Clowney, well the verdict is in. Clowney is super gifted, but if very very far away from mastering his craft or even being remotely effective in dealing with gifted tackles, which for that very reason, I see Bosa dealing better with NFL lineman as he already is a rather polished player with great use of his hands and coming off the edge with power and leverage. just my feeling

What I like about Bosa is you know what you gonna get. I don't see him getting 10-12+ sacks. But he's a high motor guy, very good at stuffing the run and can provide a good pass rush. His potentiel isn't as high as some other guys but he's so good with his hands RIGHT now thats thats kinda rare. He'll be a 3 downs players for 10+ years (thats only my opinion).

Maybe Dodd or Floyd or any other prospects will become better and get 15+ sacks. But they aren't 3 down players early in their career. Bosa has a pretty good pedigree and if he falls to the Ravens, I'd be very happy with him (unless Jack/Ramsey/Tunsil are available). I don't care about the schemes, Bosa has the frame to add 10-15 pounds so he can even play 5 tech. He can work his feet and get quicker to be an hydrid DE/OLB just like Suggs.

At the end of the day, you don't draft players to fit YOUR schemes. You adapt your schemes to fit your players. Don't forget a coordinator will stay approx 1-3 years with the same team

I can see Bosa being a perennial 10+ sack guy, people look at his 40 time and assume he's not very athletic but his agility drill were great, after the SB everyone is obsessed with speed but guys like Chandler jones or even Muhammad Wilkerson had more sacks than Miller, I'm not trying to take anything away from Miller but everyone has been crazy since the SB.

You know who has about the same 40 yard dash time? Terrell Suggs... Guess how many times Terrell Suggs has had over 10 sacks in a season? 6. I'm excited that you pointed this out. Probably even a couple more but his career has been injury prone more than a lot of other players. If Bosa is solid against the run and got a 7-8 sack season as a rookie I would be very impressed. Elvis Dumervil's 40 time is barely faster at a 4.75 and he has 2 17 sack seasons. I think Bosa would be a lot better against the run as well than Dumervil (Dumervil has lacked run defense but got better last year in Suggs' absence).

First of all, 40 yard dash is irrelevant in my opinion. There won't be, ever, in the NFL, 40 yards between the pass rusher and QB. If your pass rusher is 40 yards in pursuit thats not good news.

Where Bosa really opened my eyes, his 3  cones drills and 20 yards shuttle. He was a WOW. Posting same numbers as JJ Watt and I mean.... same numbers

3 cones :

Watt (290) : 6,88

Bosa (269): 6,89

Clowney (266) : 7,27

20 Yards shuttle:

Watt (290): 4,21

Bosa (269) : 4,21

Clowney (266) : 4,43

The only thing, Watt was 290 and Bosa 270. So let's compare Bosa with others 270 players : Dodd and Lawson. He destroyed them in both drills. He was also a lot better than Floyd whos 244. Von Miller drills were a lot better than Floyd at the same weight.

At the end of the day, the reason why I think Bosa won't end up with 12+ sacks is because he doesnt bend that much. Which means he'll be better when pass rushing from the inside on 3rd downs so he'll probably face double team blocks. I still don't get the hate on Bosa. He's a freak specimen and he"s one of the best with his hands I've seen. The guy will be a pro bowler but I still think he would be better in a 4-3 scheme. Thats why I talked about the hybrid like the Ravens did with Suggs

I never liked Clowney and anyone here can tell you that if they paid attention during that period. I got negged for calling Clowney overrated due to laziness and questioned his work ethic and laziness. I'm not bragging but I was right. So with that said, I don't see the same issues I saw in Clowney that I see in Bosa. Not at all.

The only thing on Bosa I don't like : he looks stiff. He doesn't bend a lot which means he won't be as good rushing from the outside against good offensive tackle. Thats why I think he'll move inside on passing downs and will set the edge on 1-2 downs. He's a very disruptive guy. Violent and solid hands. High motor. I'd love the Ravens to draft him

I love the comparisons of the times. While they are different players they both put up phenomenal numbers at the combine. I actually disagree with that he won't get 12 sacks. I think with his power and his hands he can work on other technique. Based off of his power, hands, and agility alone I think he will put up 7-8 sacks his rookie season and if he were drafted here I think he could play outside linebacker especially when he is playing at 270 (Suggs is at 265 but also 3 inches shorter). Suggs was also projected only at 4-3 defensive end. Bosa also benched more than Suggs, Bosa benched 269 pounds 24 times compared to Suggs 225 pounds 19 times. This is the reason I think he will excel in a 3-4 but he would have to play OLB and the way the Ravens use OLB is different than a lot of other 3-4 teams it would work.

I'm with you, I never liked Clowney much, his work ethic always scared me. Bosa is a more refined player to me and I don't see him taking off plays like Clowney did, that said I'm not 100% sold on Bosa's work ethic and competitiveness maybe it's just his mannerisms that makes him seem like he lacks passion for the game, it's probably nothing but me looking for something wrong with him,I'd still be ecstatic if he fell to us.

I think he just has that personality like Flacco that is straight forward and sounds boring. He has that "deep boring surfer dude" voice and the way he acts is the same. I think he is just a calm person overall. From what he has done in college and what he showed at the combine I'm sure he has a passion for the game. He is just a player that you cannot tell because of the certain way he comes off as. I am a Bosa supporter and it is funny because at first I was very hesitant on him but I do think the Suggs comparisons are pretty accurate. If we are lucky we will have a chance to draft this guy. The only two I think I would choose before Bosa as of now is Tunsil and Ramsey and I doubt either one of those guys fall unless somehow Tunsil falls passed San Diego. The only way I see that happening is if Tennessee or San Diego trade down and someone trades up for a QB or two QB's are taken before Baltimore. I think it is even out of reach now to get Tunsil after Joe Thomas is looking to be traded the Browns may choose Tunsil if he is not taken #1.

I feel like Jacksonville will kill this draft and take some player we really covet. Obviously Jack comes to mind but I can see someone like Alexander sitting there in round two only to have Jacksonville snag him.

Jax can't snag anybody in round 2 - we pick ahead of them.

So I didn't like him at first, but as an ILB/SS (now that we said goodbye to Hill), Cravens could be terrific in our defense. I think we end up with Bbuckner in round 1 and Cravens paired with Mosley would benefit a lot from that since they're both good blitzers and Cravens is very good off the edge. He's basically a poor man's Myle Jack, and with Daryl and Hill out he could provide help for both holes.

I think it'd his shoulder shrug that makes people think this.
