My concern is what happens if team like Cleveland rather try RGIII or Kapernick than draft a rookie at a top spot. Then you have more teams drafting at the strength of the draft which is defense.

After watching QBs,WRs combine today... its clear WR is top heavy draft(in first 2 rnds) so Ravens better grab one atleast by the second rnd.
Will Fuller 4.33 40, burner we thought he was. ND WR
Josh Doctson 4.50 40, so didnt show any weakness in his speed, for a long rangy WR.
Both Coleman,Treadwell didnt run but regardless are considered 1,2..WRs

I agree about WR being a bit top heavy, but also remember the Ravens are more in need of a go to chain mover for 3rd downs to play mostly out of the slot maybe outside sometimes. Most of the top WR's are deep threats with little experience running more than slants, go routes and posts. I have faith that Perriman will be as advertised. I personally like a WR like OSU's Sterling Shepard. I just feel he would be a better fit with the current roster of players.

Ravenous_Raven, When they won the SB last they had 2 deep threats. Torrey and Jacoby. So even if Perriman came back and was a great WR,Speed guy.Sr can be the tough guy for one more year. I want that Jacoby Jones to Perriman, Torrey Smith.

So Will Fuller the best Deep threat in the draft. Or Coleman or Treadwell, who coukd be Antonio Brown,OBJ or BMarshall DThomas type WRs

The more quarterbacks that are drafted before the Ravens the better, and many teams have QB needs.

Maybe the reason I am not a GM or a sports analyst is I think there are at least 5 QBs in the NFL that are avilable with NFL experience and could be had for a song . On or two of them are even on the Ravens.

Don't forget about Darren Waller. He has size and speed and almost as fast as any WR that tested today. He has a year under his belt and I am expecting good things from him. We shall see.......

Trading back a few picks would not surprise me either. It is a much better strategy trading back at the top of the draft vs. a trading out of the 1st Round like we did with Kindle and Upshaw because you are still left with a great 1st Round pick. It will be interesting to see what they do.

I think Myles Jack and Bosa are must draft players if they are available. Everyone seems to drool over Buckner because he has the physical traits to be a beast. Ramsey also has all the tools you are looking for in a DB except fluid hips and the fact that he really didn't make that many plays at FSU. If you check Ozzie's draft history, he often takes guys with all the physical tools over guys who produced in college. The formula has worked in the past.

I would also love to get Sterling Shepard if we have a chance. He may end up being the best WR in this class. I expect him to go Round 2 after his combine performance.

Boldin and Pitta dominated the playoffs. Jacoby was crucial on some splash plays, but we need help on defense. Steve Smith has proven he is still an effective deep threat. Perriman is a blazer. Even Jeremy Butler has big play ability. And Aiken is a solid possession WR.

I don't think we need a WR, but there are a few guys would I would take if they fell to the later rounds. Doctson and Shepard are my guys. Higgins, Malcolm Mitchel, or Braxton Miller could be a nice developmental players in the 3rd Round or later.

Well as of RIGHT NOW, neither the the Browns or the Texans are interested in Kaepernick. So drafting a QB is still a VERY valid option for the Browns.

Man, these articles talk like there is any doubt where the Ravens primary need is at #6 on the list. The only real question should be is whether Stanley will still be available. That is the only thing that should affect the draft decision.

If KO resigns then Stanley isn't even in the discussion for the Ravens.
