ozzie needs to draft like perriman, steve smith, jimmy smith and webby arent on the team. We need to be more prepared and deeper at skill positions if these players go down again. Stop drafting so many pass rushers early, save them for later in the draft

Lol have you been a Raven fan for long? Ozzie hasn't taken a pass rusher early since Upshaw in the second round in 2012...4 years ago. Z. Smith last year was a 4th rd pick. With Suggs turning 34 and Doom going on 32, we need a young rusher that can immediately make an impact if Suggs's recovery is slower than expected, such as Bosa, Buckner, Spence, Lawson, Ogbah, etc. I think we certainly need a corner and I would be surprised if one wasn't taken within the first three rounds. The good ol saying can be applied here, which is a ferocious pass rush can mask any secondary problems we might have.

My guess is 5 years $40 million with $20 million guaranteed. No other team would pay that amount for a Guard (Tops in the league). And I doubt any other team would pay him that to be their LT after only playing at that position for 5 career games. This year's salary cap number would be $5 million, which the Ravens then post June 1 Monroe cut to save $ 6 million.

Then they use Flacco's savings to sign Tucker & BWilliams to long term deals.

If that all happened and we had a solid draft then I believe 99% of Ravens fans would be extremely excited because we need some good news after this season and previous free agent departures. I also guess $8 million a year, which is fair for a top notch run blocker and above average pass protector that has shown to be durable and versatile to play Guard, RT and LT.

I think most of you are forgetting that Osemele played right tackle in his rookie season and left tackle at Iowa. I'm not saying he's gonna be a surefire left tackle or someone who's gonna be paid like a top 5 LT, but right now, he's got a lot of versatility working in his favor as far as getting paid like a tackle.

im sure we will draft an o-lineman or 2 for depth as we always do just to be safe because as soon as osemele signs the contract than the injury curse will kick in and he will have the back problem again. wonder if we would be able to trade monroe for a 6th or 7th if we offer to cover a small portion of his contract

I'm certain Urschel can do the job at OG, so getting Osemele at LT will allow us to turn our attention completely away from the OL in the first two rounds. We desperately need playmakers in our secondary and at WR. Hope this deal works out.

I agree, if we get K.O. locked up, we can turn to other positions of need in the early rounds of the draft other than OT.

We've done an awesome job over the years putting together a group of lineman that are versatile enough to operate in multiple positions. As we've seen, injuries sometimes makes people play out of their comfort zone. KO is a success story. Kudos on Ozzie and them making a statement at trying to keep him. If we're fortunate enough to do so, our O-line will get that much stronger. It may even seriously sway our draft strategy.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the "buzz" at the Combine is free agent G/T Kelechi Osemele is "looking at" $10 million-plus per year.

Osemele has everything going for him; he's only 26, can play four positions along the offensive line aside from center, and will easily be a top-five free agent once others get franchise tags. The Ravens have reportedly been "aggressive" in trying to retain Osemele, who they view as their long-term left tackle, but it's probably going to take a big offer to keep him off the open market. The Ravens have already used their franchise tag on K Justin Tucker.
