[News] Health Updates On Breshad Perriman And Three Other Ravens

Gilmore is the one I am worried about. IMHO he is by far our best TE and I was hoping he would be back ready to go. His back injury sounds like it is still a serious concern.

@samilbourne  satisfied?!?!?

  Quote

Perriman has been at the Under Armour Performance Center throughout the offseason thus far.

Ill be satisfied when He has played all year and contributed. Until then its just talk. Tell Oz to pick up a back up...how about Rueben Randle from the Giants or take a chance on Riley Cooper for a bargain. If not early then late from the cap casualty club.

It is a shame that TE has now become a position of such concern. No Boyle, Gilmore an injury concern and Maxx still finding his form.

I watched the whole presser from Ozzie at 5 PM. This full presser version that is posted is not the entire press conference. Can somebody on BR.com make sure the entire press conference is correctly posted for the benefit of all fans?

In hearing Ozzie speak about Perriman, I could only gather that he is optimistic that Perriman will be back. He didn't exude the greatest confidence that he will in my opinion. He left the door somewhat open that we may not see Perriman during OTA/TC.
I just want Suggs and SSR to come back fully healthy. They're perhaps the two best players on our team despite their age.

Let's hope we get everybody back, and they stay relatively healthy this year. If so, it is realistic to be a true SB contender! GO RAVENS!

I think we need to validate Perriman's birth certificate. Those knee ligaments sure do heal slow.

LOL- one does have to wonder.

If this dude lives up to the potential that caused us to draft him where we did, I can't wait to see him healthy and catching passes from Joe.

Im hoping Maxx can make a big leap in his sophomore season. He is athletic and has great hands, but what I first noticed about the guy is that he didn't have an NFL body (the same can be said for Carl Davis). Im sure he is hitting the weight room (Hopefully he is doing whatever Crockett did. I can't be sure but, I think Crockett gained 10 to 15 pounds between his rookie and soph season). It will make his cuts more precise and he will become a bit more explosive. A little work on his routes and he really could be a huge contributor next season. I was really impressed last season with his hands (he really made some spectacular catches last season.

Just as Gilmore is a surprising loss, we can hope Pitta is a surprising gain. Based on his production and Williams expected growth we may not be as bad as it appears at this point. It is a long time until the first regular season game so I am not going to be upset or nervous about anything at this point in time. In addition, we have to remember at this time of year there is a lot of garbage put out there by GMs and Head Coaches who want to "throw off" the competition. If you remember correctly, Ozzie just about swore on the bible he wouldn't draft a WR in the first round and then did it. Just saying, balance what the GM's are saying based on how the season ended and the known conditions of players. Gilmores surgery could be for an ingrown toenail, we don't know that, but throwing out he needs surgeries is a way to have other teams think we NEED to get a TE.

Im sorry, but I think I missed the injury update. We were just told what we knew 6 months ago, aside from the Gilmore surgeries.

I've got good news.... The Ravens don't make personnel decisions in order to satisfy fans.

I mean Maxx is just 21 years old lol, time and hard work will make him a beast. Most TEs make huge leaps in years 2 and 3
