Suggs and Bosa holding down the edge. How do you run on us? I feel like Bosa and Suggs are almost the same type of player. QB's would fear the obvious passing downs.

With an addition to Bosa I think we would and be a top 5 run stopping unit because our players upfront, such as Williams, Davis, Jernigan, and Guy are all geared towards stonewalling the run, they practically can do it naturally. Towards the end of the season some games our run D kinda loosened up as we became more worried about the pass, but with Sizzle's and Bosa's versatilityto do both exceptionally well, they can make a difference regardless of the play. This would also allow Doom to be a passing down rusher only and move Z. Smith to McPhee's old role as an inside rusher, since he is 275lbs I think he would fill that role nicely.

Terrell Suggs will be 34 in October and Doom just turned 32. While I think they both have gas in the tank, we need a nice rotation of rushers to keep the vets fresh and to allow them to be groomed and ready once our vets sail off into the sunset. Finding top notch pass rushers is difficult unless you're drafting near the top of the draft, so if Bosa or Buckner are there and Ramsey is gone, we must take whoever is left, if they even are.

I agree on the rotation, but even while they are on the field, Bosa has the ability to play 3-4 DE.  He is so go because he can play 3-4 DE and OLB.  I also like Myles Jack, Deforest Buckner, Jalen Ramsey and Vernon Hargreaves on the defensive side of the ball.  We will end up with one of them.  Myles Jack could be the best player to come out of this draft, with the ability to cover TE, WR, RB and SWR.  He can even be lined up in the secondary or that matter, he can be a running back on some plays.  He's a true swiss army knife and more versatile than Jalen Ramsey.

Myles Jack might be the most overrated player to come out in a long time. Please stop hyping dude up because I haven't seen anything special that I haven't already seen.

None of the guys you listed are LTs though, which would be what we would draft at 6. Most teams don't have problems finding good INTERIOR lineman late in the draft or even RTs.

Take a look at the list of starting LTs in this league...it's riddled almost entirely with first round picks, many of them high first round picks.

Osemele wasn't a LT until later this season and it looks like hes going to get LT money and most likely be used as an LT from here on out (wherever he plays). The point is Ozzie can find a good LT in the 2nd or even in the early 10s if we trade back. #6 is too high not to use on a skill position considering the state of our secondary fam

1. In looking at the draft class, trading back just to get a LT isn't a wise idea. Said player may not even be there when  you want to pick him, and it requires another team willing to give up picks to come up in order to complete a trade. Not something that's easily done. I definitely don't think its nearly as easy as "just get one in the second round", because as I addressed already, there really isn't much precedent for finding quality LTs outside of round 1, and mostly early in round 1.

2. I agree with the sentiment regarding the secondary, but the problem again is... what happens when the player we want isn't there? You can see arguments back and forth about whether a guy like Hargreaves is a top 6 type player. In my judgment, he's not. So if Jalen Ramsey is gone (and he easily could be)... should we just take a secondary player just for the sake of taking a secondary player?

I certainly don't buy this notion that we have to use our pick on a "skill position" player, because that just doesn't make a lot of sense. By getting a pick this high, our focus should be getting a great player in the long term... not just filling a need that makes the 2016 Ravens better.
