Is Justin is afraid of horses because of looks or riding it? I can totally understand of fearing of riding a horse because you never know horses can get out of control and you fall off and break your neck and spine just like Christopher Reeve.

My sister has a horse farm and I won't go near the horses. When I was a kid a horse took off all of sudden and I went flying. So I joined the "Equinophobia Club" as well. The only time I tried to face my fears and ride a horse since then, the horse refused to budge for about 15 minutes until it passed the longest and loudest gasser in the history of the world. The horse passed wind for at least 1 very long minute as I sat there totally humiliated and I wasn't even the guilty party. No more horses for me thanks.

Phobias are strange beasts. I have known infantry soldiers who were afraid to get their blood drawn. My mother and aunt are afraid of heights, so much so that they can't even climb a step ladder. Me, I'm afraid of being buried alive (what are the chances of that?), and being strapped down. Crazy.
