Joey Bosa or DeForest Buckner at 6.

I think bosa is all hype and Buckner would be a much better fit here and wreak havoc. This dude just looks like he was born to be a raven.

I would be so happy if two QB get taken off the board ahead of the Ravens pick #6. Buckner going 3 tho oh man. I'm digging Buckner and Bosa a lot. Even tho they would situational players subbed in with Urban and Guy who are also studs. Can't is getting cut.

He may retire anyway.

Bosa.

He could be an elite OLB/DE hybrid that we miss so much in McPhee and create a silly amount of pressure with him, Suggs, and Doom on the field.

6 is a great pick to get a great player I'll trust Ozzie. Defense must be addressed with the first pick. Buckner or Bosa is the safest pick to have a productive rookie.

Buckner grew up like 30 miles from me so I guess it's kinda bias. Lol I think Buckner would be the pick for me. I really like Bosa, but for a interior d lineman to produce numbers and havoc like Buckner did is rare imo. Our d line would be crazy young, fierce, and fresh. Imagine Timmy Jernigan, Brandon Williams, Deforrest Buckner, and Carl Davis.... Opposing O line coaches would lose sleep the week of facing us.

Buckner and Bosa are three down guys good at both rushing the passer and stopping the run.

I would be happy with both.. I just hope other teams above us aren't smart so one of the two drop to us. Tunsil, Ramsey, Bosa, Buckner, Jack, and Jaylon Smith are the only players I think worth the #6 pick. I just don't see Stanley fitting with us if his weakness is run protection and we want to run the ball more. With Jaylon Smith hurt as well that is a gamble. But if any of those players are on the board when we are picking I would be happy. I think defense needs to be drafted really badly though with all the aging playmakers we need some young guys to spike some play making plays into the defense.

I would love either or but I do think Buckner has a higher ceiling. That 6'7 height makes me drool. But I also think Bosa has a better chance at switching to an outside linebacker which I see more of a priority of. I am excited to see both their combine times. If Buckner isn't much slower than Bosa then I believe Buckner will be drafted higher. I also think Bosa is more NFL ready coming out of Ohio State I think Buckner would take a little bit longer grasping the NFL.

So we have a Buckner vs. Spence thread and a Buckner vs. Bosa thread. Might as well make a Bosa vs. Spence thread at this point.

Bosa is a 6'6" and is a better interior rusher than Buckner is imo. Also one of the best Edge run defenders I have ever seen. You literally can't move him on the edge. I agree that Bosa has the athleticism to play OLB no problem. He would be like Pernell McPhee on steroids for us.

I don't think we would take Spence with pick 6. The character issues reason. Getting kicked out of the OSU two years ago. Then getting arrested for public intoxication this past May. I see him dropping to the bottom of the first, early 2nd. We will still get him but later in the draft not at 6. Just because of a few good practices for the senior bowl doesn't make him all of a sudden a top 10 player.

Does anyone think Buckner is athletic enough to play Courtney Upshaw'so position? I ask because I really think Carl Davis is going to be a monster this next year after getting some rest. The rookie year is the hardest and most grueling. So if we lose Canty and Upshaw, that doesn't even phase me if our line is Williams, Jernigan, and Davis with Guy, Urban, and KLM to back them up. And that's along with Suggs and Buckner out on first and second anday a healthy Doom on 3rd?!!! Sounds good too me. Personally I think Buckner can do it, he's only 10 pounds heavier than Upshaw!

Im pretty sure my Chia Pet is more athletic than Upshaw

I think Bosa would be more versatile for us. Bosa would be a great 3-4 DE, but having him play OLB on first and second down would be amazing. He can set the edge and rush the passer (unlike Upshaw). Like people have mentioned, he would be like McPhee. The biggest beneficiary of this would be Dumervil, whom would be able to get rest and come in on downs where his primary focus is solely on rushing the pass- what he does best. Bosa could play DE and OLB, where Buckner I could only see playing DE.

Buckner, however, I can see becoming the best 3-4 DE in football! He is amazing against the run and can get pressure on the QB. Either guy would be a solid pick IMO.

Not gonna happen. He Will no doubt be atleast A top 15 pick. Some teams dont Care about character concerns as much as others. Our pick will either be Buckner, Spence or Ramsey, Not a doubt in my mind.

Funny thing is I see teams get the perfect picks in the 1st 2 rounds that make me jealous as hell and they don't do any good for these teams. So I think whoever oz has his eyes on and is able to select will work out for us. I want a reliable LT in the early to mid rounds of this draft almost as much as a pass rusher. I think Zadarious smith will have a way better season coming up, so hopefully with this past years experience he'll contribute more.... Fingers crossed lol

If we trade down I see us taking Spence. If we stay at 6 it's Buckner, Bosa, Ramsey, or Jack. Spence is not going to be taken in the top 10.

It Would be nice to trade back And get him, but i Wouldnt Be so sure he wont Go top 10. His stock is steadily rising and alot can change. Its A bit premature to straight up say he wont. And you originally said You see him dropping to the bottom of the first to early second- which simply wont happen after his Performance at the senior bowl and With the buzz hes Got right now.

The senior bowl was a joke. That online was horrible, they gave up pressure on both sides of the line and the middle. Of course he looked unstoppable. A game versus a bad oline and a few good practices doesn't mean [profanity deleted]. If his combine numbers are through the roof then he can be talked about as a elite potential in the early draft. Braxton Miller killed it in practice for the senior bowl but in the game had only 2 catches for 18 yards. In the year had 300 something yards and now he is being talked about being a first rounder because of a few practices!? Com'on be real.

The Giants (10) and Buccs (9) both need a pass rusher. I wouldn't be surprised if either of them take him.

These draftniks keep changing their picks like babies diapers! By the time the draft actually comes along, they can point to one of their myriad drafts and say ' I told you so'! But, even then they get most of their picks wrong...

If the senior Bowl was a joke then i Doubt  hundreds of scouts Would be there wasting their time. And its Not just about the senior bowl, if It Wasnt for him being banned And leaving ohio State he would be hands down a top 10 maybe even top 5 prospect. Hes Still the same player, and some Teams can afford To take chances on players with character concerns. You need to get real If you think he Could slip to the 2nd, aint happenin. And you must Not be listenin to all the draft pundits who have spoken to several Teams. the overall concensus Is He will go top Twelve and Most likely be the best Pass rusher of the class, and after the show von miller Put on at the superbowl, teams are going to try and mimic that. Its A copycat League. A slip to 15? Maybe. But to the Bottom of the first/early second? No chance in Hell.

Maybe I just haven't been paying attention close enough, but I feel like Timmy was very quiet this past season. Or did he just do a lot of 'bread and butter stuff' (hmm) that didn't show up in the stat sheet?

Like others have said I also feel like we should address defense in the first round. Depending on how the chips fall we should be able to pick one of Buckner, Bosa, Jack, Ramsey, Spence or Jaylon. All great talents I would welcome with open arms.
I think I might even stay up late here in Europe and watch our pick live, since we're on the clock so early this year.
Can't wait, go Ravens!

I just checked their 4/30 draft for 2015, they had Perriman at Pick 43 and Max Williams at 42. They had us picking Marcus Peters at 26! How nice it would be had we actually gone that route! We would certainly not be picking #6 if had Marcus Peters opposite Jimmy! However, I'll concede that they nailed a number of draft picks on the money.
