Whitehair only got 16 reps on the bench, I knew he needed more upper body strength but jeeze man

this is quite surprising.  I think he is one of the safest offensive lineman in this draft.

This QB class seems underwhelming. Josh Doctson looks so smooth catching the ball, though.

That's my ideal 2nd round pick right there. 6'4, great hands, strong vertical presence.. how long have we been looking for that guy in Baltimore. Doctson can ball.

I haven't been watching too much, but Doctson's gauntlet was impressive.  He has fantastic body control.

Anyone disappointed by Boyd's time? 4.59

I am

Wow, he seemed way faster on film... But it seems just average when compared to the other WR of this class.

Apart from that, he's amazed me (started watching 40min ago), him and Doctson are a cut above the rest. I'm realizing either one of them in the 2nd would be really great.

I don't think he's gonna be there for us in the 2nd round. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Fuller is just catching everything. All hands.

Right, as Ike was saying he's making some money right now

Boyd was a little slower than I thought but his hands are incredible and Doctson is 6'2".

Was listed at 6'4 in college and his combine profile says 6'3 (nobody has their fractional specific listed for some reason) could easily be just shy of 6'4 barefoot which is still impressive.

Cajuste is 6'4 and visibly taller than Doc.

The draft card lists him at 6'2 which makes more sense to me.

Isn't that fairly slow?

nah I wouldn't say so.. many WRs post a 1.60-1.64 split. For comparison A.Cooper last year and B.Miller today have run 1.62.

Main issue with him is always the same..pad level.

Let's say that a team drafting him im the second and B.Miller one round later will have a crazy number of options to go with on third down and short.

You'd have a short yardage power-Back and a WR who can play the wildcat too.. imagination at its highests :D

I don't see a WR going in the first 15. The 40's today were horrible. Fuller put up a 4.32 that's the best in the combine for WR. Everyone else considered top 5 WR ran a 5.8+. A lot of players are going to drop. Braxton Miller's hype is over with that 4.50. Well get him with 4th round comp pick, if not him someone other wide receiver. There's only one wide receiver I would consider with our first 2 rounds and that's Fuller.

Nope, it's what the film showed, which is why I have said he is a 2nd rounder all along.

You can get good seperation, if you are a decent rout runner. Doctson and Sterling Shepard will be great, imho.

Everybody knows that combine numbers aren't that important, unless you really over/underperform. We could say it over and over that football ain't track.
Miller is very quick in his changes of direction and has a good pair of hands as well. He will get separation once he gets comfortable doing what he does; his draft stock isn't changed much.. he's going in the 2nd-3rd range anyway.

I disagree, though I never considered Miller a 2nd or 3rd, his athleticism is what was going to carry him into a day 2 pick. If he underperforms at the combine it will hurt him badly. He doesn't have good production and barely knows the WR position, he'll all potential and his athleticism is a huge part of that. Underwhelming numbers will hurt his stock at least until his pro day.

Michael Thomas did not look great in the Gauntlet. Treadwell had a drop too, but looked a lot smoother.

Dont really care about the gaunlet too much.

Tread was horrible in both the broad and vert.

Boyd (4.58), Thomas (4.57) , and Doctson (4.5) are considered top 5 WRs and ran in the 4.5 range.

Anyways, it was good seeing Shepard put up a decent time. Carroo did better than I thought he would, posting a better time than Boyd or Thomas.

Doctson did look impressive  Makes me want to rewatch some of the games.  Initially I came away that he was a passive ball catcher, meaning he would constantly allow the ball to get to him instead of snatching it out of the air.

One of my favorite receivers in this class is Sterling Shepard.  Mayock thought he compared to Randall Cobb or a little slower Tyler Lockett.  I think those are accurate.

I wouldn't say horrible for someone weighing 220, but less than ideal for sure. He's never been an explosive WR though. His numbers aren't much different than Josh Gordon.

Addison may have cost himself with that 40 time. His selling point is that he was a small, quick receiver from an uptempo offense, like Lockette. But he ended up running a slower time than some of the bigger receivers.

I think Doctson is one of the better WRs at going up and getting the ball.
