We would have sacrificed Mosley and Jernigan to go up and get Mack.

Maybe we did and the Raiders laughed at us and told us "no"? Just because we didn't move up doesn't mean we didn't try. I recall a rumor saying that Ozzie tried to trade up to get Mack.

Yes. I heard that as well. To me, it's an interesting argument.

Regarding this years draft in that light; would you give up our third round pick to move to the end of round one for a player you think is special? Someone like Kevin Dodd for me(insert your player here).

I'd give up our 4th but not our 3rd. Why would we need to give up our 3rd? You want to move into the middle of first? I'd rather keep that 3rd round pick. I think we'll end up with Bosa, so I don't see the need to move up for Dodd. I would move up for Kendall Fuller if we feel he doesn't make it to us. Maybe the Broncos would be a willing partner. Dallas may take him [Fuller] or even Jacksonville. You know the Broncos don't need any DBs, lol.

Dodd is hypothetical and I was thinking a three would be necessary to move to say ,twenty three or four.

without getting into the merits of Dodd, I'm really following the discussion and logic that if it would in hindsight be worth trading our one,two and three to get Mack, why not sacrifice a three if someone starts to fall? I'd consider moving back in for Elliot.

also, if Jack is on the board I'm hoping we take him over Bosa....Jack and Dodd?

I think one of fuller or wj3 would fall to our 2nd, they're both generally considered 2nd rounders so unless one makes a rise I think we could land one

It amazes me how people will seemingly forget that it takes two to tango. Always criticising ozzies conservatism and not thinking that the other party has to agree to complete any trade
