Bosa then trade up for Nkemdiche!! A tandem of wrecking balls ravens hasn't fronted since the vaunted millineum end of all offense defense. Ravens do a good job of finding solid players but you need those building block destroyers that make players around them better.a 285 lb dude and 300 lb dude that move like linebackers  would return the defense to formidable. And make bronco defense look like a trip to southbeach.

That is way too much praise for the dolphins defense.

The Draft needs to hurry up! But anyway, taking a pessimistic view, I am going to argue for something many believe to be the unthinkable! I am praying that one of the top 5 drop to us, but if Cleveland is a smarter franchise under Jackson, which they could be, and they end up with a veteran QB and elect to bypass Wentz or Goff, then we have a real decision to make. Tunsil, Ramsey, Bosa, Jack, and Buckner are all gone and we are on the clock. I would love a slight trade back with the Rams or maybe the Eagles, etc., but that all depends on another team coveting a player at 6 to move up. With no biters on a trade back, most here have elected to take VH3 and most analyst have us taking Stanley, but I feel it will be in our best interest to take SHAQ LAWSON. I think most people would agree that he is a very talented pass rusher and defensive player as a whole, maybe not elite yet, but has the potential to be. Clemson asks so much of their Defensive ends and he was able to do it all. He bull rushed the passer using his hands, strength, and even a pretty sick spin move, while also being able to set the edge and diagnose screen, bootlegs, etc. His pro day and the combine showed that he is explosive and a high character guy undeniably. While I think Hargreaves is perhaps more of a safe bet, pass rushers in this draft drop off quick and the plethora of quality corners will certainly extend to pick 36, and if needed we could trade up if Alexander, Apple, or Jackson III were to fall, especially since our FO is in a win now mode. It just seems that worst case scenario he becomes an Upshaw like player with his edge setting abilities that will log anywhere from 4-8 sacks a year, while the best case scenario is that he is the heir to Suggs and becomes a pro bowl +10 sacks a year player that has the high IQ to make calls at the line of scrimmage to make sure we are always in position. I also see Floyd, Dodd, and Spence all going by the second round too, especially with how valuable teams believe them to be. Teams like Pitt, Carolina, New York, Minnesota, and Buffalo need pass rushers too so I wouldn't be surprised if there is an early run on them, so neg me if you want, but this could be the best-worst case scenario.

We are a team that takes the top ranked player prior to the combine (Suggs) with the 11th pick. We are not a team that takes a player (Shaq Lawson) ranked as a top 20 player with our #6 pick. So I don't believe that'll happen. If your surmise happens (meaning all the top 5 players are taken) and no QB taken before we pick, I think we take the safe route and pick VH3 or Elliott.

I do not believe  Ravens always do bpa. There are lots of examples. But It is not a bad thing if an impact player is found. If Bosa is available  at 6 he is bpa in my opinion. Then if ravens trade back into round1 Nkemdiche is bpa cuz of his fall down boards. But he is a #1 overall talent!! And ravens get back to destroying and scaring offenses!! Bosa Williams Nkemdiche Jernigan Mosley could be a young destructive nucleus. And ravens get back to putting terror in opponents!! Then maybe Zach Brown to play beside Mosley and ravens have a dominant defense!!

I find this premise flawed mainly because you don't know what the Ravens big board looks like, none of us do.  Even though im not a huge Bosa fan, I could get on board with Bosa and Nkem, easily lol

How about

1. Bosa

2. Michael thomas

3 Correa

4 Washington maybe he drops with all the depth.

to be honest I don't see WR that big of a need to get in the round 2. Pass rush and corner are a big need right now and even with the BPA you could get probably one early 2nd.

Yeah and I don't think the value is really there in the early second for a receiver. Rather add a another corner.

Hey I threw Correa in there this time. Haha. And it's not every year your school has legitimate top talents in every round. IMO Apple is overrated and Washington is underrated.....maybe Decker instead of Thomas.

I agree about Apple and Washington. Thomas is my 2nd wr in terms of talent but his character concerns me.

We might tease but OSU is lighting up the draft this year with a lot of great talent. I've never seen anything like it since I began following the draft

It is very likely no doubt, but with the owner pounding his fist for a pass rusher of the future, I don't foresee us not taking one with either pick 6 or 36, which brings me back to the argument that pass rushers falls off a lot quicker than CB in this class. I no doubt think VH3 is safer and more polished, but unless we snag him and get Calhoun or Spence in the second, I would almost like the possible combo of Lawson with Alexander or WJIII better, which is still wishful thinking.

Best case scenario:

Ravens trade down to 15 in the first round, picking up the Rams' 43rd and 45th overall pick in 2016 and the Rams 2017 first round pick, giving away our 3rd and Broncos 4th round picks (Rams want Goff ahead of the 49ers)

Then the Ravens trade down from 36 to 63, picking up the Broncos' 2017 first round pick (they want Lynch ahead of the 49ers)

15) Leonard Floyd

43) Noah Spence

45) Jason Spriggs

63) Kendall Fuller

2017 Rams pick (3rd overall) Myles Garrett

2017 Broncos pick (6th overall) Leonard Fournette

Ravens repeat 5x as SB champions (somehow never winning their division the entire time). Lombardi trophy is renamed the John Harbaugh trophy.

That would potentially be doable with a trade back, and a trade up from the 2nd.

I love the optimism lol.  Anything involving a first rounder next year im all in for.  If we landed Fournette next year, good god.  I would be all for this though, with a grain of salt of course.

Wouldn't the Broncos just pick Lynch up at the end of the 1st round rather than spend next year's 1st round pick to get him in the 2nd?

Well you may as well point out how the eagles could have simply dropped the ring into Mt. Doom while you're at it :(

/inb4 someone makes a joke about eagles not having rings
