Now Robinson is fun to watch for all the wrong reasons, probably best for him to be moved inside to guard at this point.

He would suck at guard as well. His play flaws run deeper than technique. He is very strong and athletic!! He could be taught all the techniques from all the best and he would be terrible. KO is going to be the left tackle and dominate like everybody thought like Robinson would be.Similar to Erik Williams. As for 1-2 combo I like Floyd\Doctson or Stanley/Doctson if ravens lose KO and put about 20 LBs muscle on him

Except Robsinson did fine at guard his rookie year. He didn't start to struggle until Jake Long went down for the Rams and he had to play tackle where he was way over his head.

If and when we lose KO, Stanley has to take a huge jump on our draft board. We simply can not go into the season with Monroe and Hurst as our top 2 LT's.

Flacco will get killed.

The 2 "dream" drafts I'd see for us :
- #6 : Myles Jack
&
- #36 : Eli Apple/Kendall Fuller

OR

- #6 Vernon Hargreaves III

&
- #36 Noah Spence/Kamalei Correa

Just seen a mock on NFL.com that had us taking Buckner in the first and passing up Spence for Jaylon Smith based on the fact that if he returns to form in 2017, then we landed two top 5 talents in one draft. Would anybody else do the same? The unknown status of that knee might make Spence hard to pass on in this scenario.

I feel like that early in the 2nd is too much of a gamble at that point. I wouldn't mind if we went with Buckner, Spence, and then trade back up in the the 50s to grab Jaylon Smith.

Could you imagine our team in 2017 if they all worked out!? With Buckner gaining experience inside and being able to generate a consistent interior pressure, Spence would have a field day being a third rusher along Suggs and Doom. Then Smith being paired with CJ gives us an athletic inside linebacker core for years

True. The Ifo gamble seems to be paying for the Browns, maybe trying Smith in the 3rd could turn out to be the biggest steal of the decade.

What would people think of Darian Thompson in the second?

I don't like him. NFL is going to be too fast for him.

Would you trade a third round pick for next year's first? If the answer is yes, then why wouldn't you take Jaylon Smith in the 3rd? Better question would be would you trade a 2nd round pick for a top 10 pick next year? I think the answer would be possibly 'yes' again. Then, why wouldn't you take Jaylon Smith in the 2nd? He is clearly a top 10 talent when healthy. And ACL tears heal very well with rehab and time. That includes nerve damage where time heals them too.

I'm not really a fan. I think some of the receivers in our division would run right by him. I'd sooner take Vonn Bell in the 2nd.

Oh, I'm interested in what you just said. The "nerve" thing seemed to make the media think he won't be able to ever play football, so can you explain me how bad it is and what can be reallistically expected for him? Because my medical knowledge is very raw.

I wouldn't have taken jaylon Smith in the top 10 even BEFORE the injury. Myles Jack is a scheme diverse player, he can play outside in a 43 or inside in a 34 because he's just a hardnosed and very instinctive player, jaylon Smith really only operates in space and gaps and he gets worked over in traffic. While I know the 34 vs 43 thing is overblown, I just don't see much of a place for Smith in our defense because our linebackers are expected to do certain things and I don't think he's capable of carrying out those tasks.

Still, if he's available in the 3rd he's worth the reflexion. What you're talking about can be tought and his talent is just huge.

I don't think a hard nose can be taught. And I definitely don't think it can be taught for a guy who's tentatively running around on damaged nerves with a lanky and possibly maxed out 230lb frame lol.

Also, I'll take darian thompson as a SS, rashard Higgins, Joe schobert, shon coleman, germain ifedi, any of them over Smith in the 3rd

Coleman and Ifedi won't be there imo, but your opinion makes sense.

Probably not the most realistic but Bosa + Kendall Fuller would be awesome

This is my expected haul. I think it's very realistic. I can't justify any CB in the first unless it's Ramsey.

I just don't know if Bosa and Fuller are there. I know they could realistically be there but I always like to go into the draft on the pessimistic side of things as well and I really don't want to get my hopes up on it lol

Honestly, trading down and picking up someone's 2nd rounder (possibly more) might be my favorite option depending on who we take (since Ramsey and Tunsil are unrealistic at 6).

For example, we could trade down to #8 with the Eagles and pick up their 3rd rounder (possibly more). At #8, we could probably draft whoever we were going to take at #6 anyway, assuming Philly takes Goff. VH3 or Leonard Floyd could be decent value there.

Or we could trade down to #15, picking up one of the Rams' 2nd rounders and more (possibly both of their 2nd rounders if multiple teams want to jump the 49ers). Treadwell, Noah Spence, Ogbah, Fuller, Elliott or maybe even Stanley could be in play there. We could even trade back up for someone we like.

Too many possibilities to list. I guess an unrealistic dream-draft scenario would be

15. Leonard Floyd (from Rams)

36. Noah Spence

43. Jason Spriggs (from Rams)

45. Tyler Boyd or Yannick Ngakoue or Xavien Howard or Will Jackson (from Rams)

Nkemdiche/Deion Jones. In my opinion the most gifted player in the draft with Nkemdiche then Jones is a 3down ilb that may rival Jack. Hevis only 224 LBs but rocked up with muscle explosive and physical. An alternative scenario would be Nkemdiche then Coleman or Thomas. Or Nkemdiche and Floyd or Spence. However Nkemdiche with a defensive player like Jones Spence or Floyd is an explosive shot of expresso for the defense. As much as I love Bosa, Nkemdiche is a once every 5 yr player. Can't overlook!!

Nkemdiche is nothing like a once every 5 years.

He's got an insane get off, that's  about it. Nothing special technically or physically. Dumb af. No great motor. He's got everything checked to be a bust. Even in the 2nd I wouldn't take him, and you want him over Jack or Bosa? I understand you don't like Buckner but c'mon, Nkemdiche is two floors below the likes of bosa, Jack, Ramsey.

Jones isn't a bad player but he's got room to grow, looks more like a 3rd rounder.
