Coleman is falling to the 2nd round?  I'm a little surprised by that.  If he's there with our original second pick, I'm happy with him there.

Just wondering who do you have going 1-5 and who do you have the Saints moving up for?  And I don't know if Spence gets past the Bucs, I know many of their fans are calling for him(take that for what it is worth.)

Who is NO moving up for?  If there's any team that needs as many picks as they can get, it's NO with their awful cap situation.

I dont think top 10 picks get traded for anything other than other future first round considerations

Everyone keeps assuming we will be trading back with a qb Needy team but thats Not necessarily the case. im Thinking the first 5 off the board will be Bosa-goff-tunsil-wentz- ramsey. The saints biggest need is arguably Their defensive line (although their secondary is God awful as well)But i have the saints trading up for Deforest Buckner or Ashawn Robinson.

Yeah He's definitely one of the lucky snags. And thats not true at all. Every situation is circumstancial..how the board falls vs. Our needs vs. Cap situation etc.

I don't like mocks with trades. There are too many variables to consider and trades are always rigged so that the Ravens can take their guy, while pocketing extra picks and killing the rest of the draft and we all rejoice in the bright future ahead.

This one hasn't been researched well either - as @rmw10 already pointed out, both Eagles and Saints trading up this year does not make much sense.

There's no way Coleman falls to the second round. Many analyst have him as the number one WR.

Alright I switched some things around. I was at work on my break earlier and I admittedly rushed through it. Much more satisfied with the way it stands now.

Just because they fleeced the Redskins doesn't mean they would get fleeced by us right? Or who really knows? They just might be that desperate. But, do you think the Jags won't take a lesser deal to go back 10 spots? Or the Cowboys for that matter??

I don't picture us getting a future 1st and two 2nds. I don't know if the Rams would do that but everyone in the F.O and Jeff Fisher has to be very desperate. This is do-or-die for them. I think a future 1st and a 2nd would get it done though. I think the Rams would prefer to keep a 2nd(WR pick likely) this year to help their QB out. If this is what we ask for I think they could ask others in the top ten damaging our chances of a trade down.

 

I like Coleman but I don't really like the next two picks. I just feel that we can get better plays there.

I think a big thing a lot of people are overlooking is that if any of these projected trades were to come to fruition, that team is giving up essentially 2 drafts for one player.  They'll have the later round picks of course, but you're talking about top talent missing for 2 tears outside of that one player.  The track record of teams doing that isn't exactly sparkling.  We all know how RG3 turned out and even Sammy Watkins looks like a mistake.  He's a good player, but they could have stayed put and picked up Beckham.  It's asking teams a lot to not only give up picks from this year, but also the next year.

Its Not just any player though- its A potential franchise qb..and they are Very desperate right now..combine that With the move to LA and a need  to Appease a new demographic of possible fans. I get the idea of trading up for a QB, but you also run the risk of setting your franchise back for even longer if you miss on that guy.

If we end up with this, I'll be ecstatic.

It's still think it's very optimistic though, Coleman in the 2nd seems highly unlikely, and you'd want to take C. Jones in the 4th.

 

I really like the Wright and Kaufusi picks, however. I think Kaufusi is far from just a physical freak, I loved watching his tape. I view him as an upgrade over Upshaw. As of Wright, you can't deny his instinct and the intensity he brings to the game. He and Mosley would be a nightmare. He's also a great fit, especially with the 3-3-5 that Pees uses on 3rd downs.
