I have three screens up so I didn't read your post properly. Hurst at guard and Jensen at tackle doesn't make sense, Hurst lacks anchor to play inside and Jensen lacks the length and footwork to play LT.

Urschel at guard then?  I still think he's our center of the future.  But if Hurst is that scary, we do have other options on the team already.  But I guess I have to spell that out specifically.

Length... perhaps.  Footwork?  You need to watch him more closely.  He's got very good feet.  Playing tight Tackle in college demanded it, as they shifted him based on where their tight end lined up.  I still believe he locks down the LG position.  Urschel just doesn't have the nastiness and mauler mentality that Jensen does.  Urschel will be the consummate Center with more work.  Really like him there.

I think he took some training reps at center last season, I'm a fan of his but I don't know if he'll progress because his offseason focus has been on his studies.

I think he'll take the LG spot but he's not even a proven commodity there let alone on the blindside. Funny how we drafted him to play center and Urschel to play guard.

Jensen is a little taller than Kelvin Beachum. Sometimes height isn't that important. Obviously taller is better but if you're good with what you got then hey! Jensen has shorter arms than most tackles, though. Beachum's arms aren't long, either, but I'm not sure if they're longer than Jensen or not.

Pretty sad that we're here even talking about Jensen at LT.

I just checked this same topic at Walter Football and apparently this is what the rumors say:

1. Ramsey

2. Wentz

3. ?

4. Buckner

5. ?

6. Bosa, Jack, or Tunsil

I just went off rumors he posted, mind you, but they make sense. If Ramsey is their guy, Tennessee may be willing to trade back..I really think Jacksonville goes Jack and it makes sense for SD to take Tunsil but maybe they throw us a curveball and go Stanley or Bosa.

Yea I've heard the Ramsey at #1 arguments and struggled with it. If the Titans sign another tackle, I could see it, but my real issue with that is what Tunsil does for them. Soldifies the book ends, improves the run game (which they want), protects their QB. Tunsil is a phenomenal athlete on top of that. The thing that really makes me struggle with not putting Ramsey at #1 in my mock is how much Tampa loved him and how they don't expect him to fall.

Wentz at 2 depends on the Kap trade fall out, but the fact the browns are in on it lets you know how they feel about the QBs in this draft.

Bosa will be the pick at 3 unless Tunsil drops. Even then I'm still 99% sure it's Bosa.

I can see Buckner at 4.

I am almost 100% sure 5 will be Vernon Hargreeves. Not because he deserves to go there, but because he's the best corner in the draft and the Jags are desperate.

The trade will go as follows....

Kapernick and the 7th pick for the Cleveland 2nd overall.  San Fran will then still draft a QB.

I don't think the Titans have a reason to lie about their interest in Ramsey. I've heard this rumor many times so I think that it may very well be legitimate. It would certainly be surprising to pass on Tunsil for Ramsey but it wouldn't surprise me. Titans may think they can land Spriggs and they may think they can get away with going in another direction.

I don't think the Browns trading for Kaepernick means much about how they feel about the QB. It could be that the Browns like the QBs but would like to get a QB who once showed promise and get another top player with their pick.

I don't think Bosa is as guaranteed as you do to San Diego. I think Buckner makes sense for them, too. Tunsil makes sense because they certainly need OL and so does Stanley imo. They may go Bosa, don't get me wrong, but I'm just not convinced is an obvious pick.

Disagree with Hargreaves over Jack. It's possible but I think Xavier Howard is a far better fit for them imo. Fits what Gus seems to like in his DBs..

Wentz behind Kaep is their best shot, but they will fail somehow like they always do

Unless I am missing a big FA, I don't see how the Jags would pass on Tunsil if there.

I mean they tried that last year with Potassi and failed miserably. I get the whole RT argument, but why chance it? Why not two strong book ends guaranteed.

It's a pretty big indictment to me.

We will see

Jax can't chance anymore burn victims. They need a sure thing. I agree about the scheme fit thing, but the Jags are too desperate and cant take a chance of missing .

That's why I had three guys there for the Ravens. I went purely off of rumors with that ranking. I thought it was implied, but I should've specified. My bad. I agree, though.

We'll see. You know I got no problem giving you props. I've done it before. If the Jaguars take Hargreaves over Jack, I'll give you props. I just think they'd go Jack before Hargreaves.

Dallas just signed Thornton to some serious cash, so they may go in another direction since it would be something to get Buckner. Then again, Buckner played DE in the 4-3 at times, so who knows.

I think there's risk from the Titans if they draft Tunsil with Lewan because Lewan may not play the same at RT. We've seen guys go from left to right or right to left and lose their efficacy, so it's possible they may not want to move Lewan. Maybe they'd draft Tunsil to play RT, but that seems a bit of a stretch. I buy the Ramsey talk, tbh. Hell, maybe we trade with the Titans to move up to #1 to get Tunsil.

Speculation or real rumors?

I would call it speculation. I've heard that it is the second round pick that the Niners wanted from Broncos for a trade. How then could the Niners get the 2nd overall pick for their own 7th? It doesn't make sense from the Browns perspective, but then again they are the Browns for a reason!

That second round pick is more like a third round pick since it's literally the last pick in the second round. So moving up five spots in the first is significantly more value.

No doubt. Just inquiring about that guy speaks volumes.

How is kaepernick worth anything above the value equal to that of a 4th round pick?

Well the Jags have added Amakamura probably scratching CB off of their list.

With this signing and the Safety signing I think they'd pass on Ramsey.

idk moving cyprien to linebacker feels like tbey don't prioritize the position too much. To me it's still pass rusher or pass defender and there is no EDGE rusher at that point for me unless you count Buckner who doesn't fit the Seattle mold.

Thorton is a 5-tech which is probably the one position on the line Buckner doesn't play

Lewan played better at RT so I don't think thats too much of an issue.

Like I said I can buy the Ramsey talk, but it's hard for me to justify it.

Amakamaura has  a tough time staying healthy and The Jags have been mentioned to be  considering moving   starting strong safetyJonathan Cyprien  to outside linebacker ( like Mark Barron)so  The Jags could still be in play for Ramsey.
