That's how I see Bosa.  You'll obviously have some struggles in coverage with him if you make him drop, but I still see a damn good player overall.  I think he'll be great against the run and an 8-12 sack guy like you said.  I wouldn't shudder at that at all.

Bosa doesn't have the great athletic prowess of other elite pass rushers. However, he's going to be an all around solid player in his career. I think he averages between 9-10 sacks a year, which is plenty good enough if we decide to take him at #6. I think he also secures one side of the field as an edge setter as well. I think he'll give us what Jarrett Johnson gave us as a run defender but give us a lot more in the area of pressures, hits and sacks than Jarrett ever did. So, I say unless Ramsey and Tunsil are available when we pick, take him. Very safe bet imo.

Pretty much my thoughts lol

I'd almost gone a full draft season without using that gif. Couldn't let that happen. :P

I agree and I don't know how I feel about taking Elliott at 6. He definitely will be a difference maker, though.

Of of course this could just be out there so the Bears or Fins trade up with us and not the Browns

Yep, let's steal the Browns thunder and hope for more draft picks. Though I ultimately think we stay put because either Bosa or Tunsil becomes a Raven tonight.

He's entitled to his opinion only because the constitution says so. If he lived in the middle East he would be stoned after his first report.

Lol I know Preston and I know why he says that stuff. I'm not about to ruin his gig but I'm going to say I do know. Sorry to be that guy. I wouldn't hate on him too much as he's just doing his job.

Mike Mayock said the Cowboys should consider him at 4... I'd hope that the Ravens would take Shaq Lawson before they took Floyd

I think Preston has some good insider information, but that's about it. I don't like a lot of the opinions he forms.

And we take Doctson in that scenario... I like Doctson, but...

To pass on Tunsil and move back to 15 I would pray to God that we god more value at 15, plus I'd hope we would get a second and a third or more likely, both second rounders.

I agree. He's quite strongly opinionated.

I have a neutral opinion of Preston, I find him mostly objective and I think that upsets the more optimistic fans.

I would love Floyd with 15 pounds more of muscle because you can tell he lacks strength. The question is can he achieve that.

The thing is that he doesn't lack strength, for his size he actually holds up well in that regard, what he lacks is mass which makes him easily moveable, but in terms of getting a head of steam and converting speed to power and using functional strength he will surprise folks when you consider his size.

However, strength and power is a relative term here, he is strong for his size but he isn't strong in general. If he added 15 lbs, then by scaling alone he could be freakishly strong.

His knowledge on football on general just seems really bad to me lol

Floyd might not be there at 6 or even after a trade down. Draft Day rumblings say he is neing connected to the Jaguars(strange) but he's been linked more to Tampa leading up to the draft. Now reports say he is the Giants top target.

I just want 8pm to get here already.

Philadelphia has emerged as leading candidate to host 2017 NFL Draft, per sources. NFL considering Philly, LA - neither has a 1 next year.

LA would make sense with the city in general, even without the 1st round pick.  I think Philly would be an awful choice.

He knows what he's talking about in terms of football. It's speculation where he sometimes gets a bit colorful, but isn't that his job? That's what the media seems to do as a whole. Don't want to derail the topic here, btw. Just saying.

I would definitely disagree with his ability to convert speed to power and use functional strength. You are correct in that he's probably pretty strong for someone his size, but that's not really saying much when you look like a wide receiver. If we did a jersey swap between Leonard Floyd and AJ Green, I bet most people would mix the two up because he just does not have mass and he is so rail thin.

I think it's a tall task to assume he'll be able to 1) carry 15 pounds well and not lose too much speed or agility since his hip flexion isn't great to start with and 2) that 15 pounds will make a huge difference. He's 245 and looks like he's 200. He's just got a gangly frame.

Philly won't take him and it's unlikely SD would go with any defensive player other than Buckner

Myles Jack admitted the knee issues are there and admitted microfracture surgery could be in his future. He said if he played just three years in the league, it'd be above average.

Here is Matt Miller's final mock draft: http://bleacherreport.com/nfl

A couple of takeaways:

Su'a Cravens goes one pick before the Ravens third and Mackenzie Alexander is the second to last pick in the second. He also has Kendall Fuller going in the fourth.

If Cravens was within three or four picks of the Ravens third, I'd have to believe they'd trade up, possibly even for Alexander. I'd also find it hard to believe they'd pass on Kendall Fuller. The ideal draft would be Tunsil-Spence-Trade up for Cravens-Fuller.

That would  be a lot to give up for a player other teams can throw away from...
