Ideal scenario for me...

Trade back with the rams for a 2nd and future first. Take Floyd, lawson, or dodd there. Get Alexander with our original 2nd, get cravens with our new 2nd and build our defense around having a as/lb hybrid so that we can absolutely eliminate TEs from the game and allow Webb and weddle to make plays everywhere else on the field Because they have new help on the outside with a healthy Jimmy and alexander, while also having a new pass rusher to force the issue. Our safeties would never have to man cover a TE with a guy like cravens and they would really be able to make plays with all that freedom

We very well could lead the league in turnovers with that setup

Next year's draft looks to be a good one so an extra on plus a pick or two this year while scoring a Dodd, Lawson,Floyd might be a good thing.

Both reports had us going to the back end for a safety.

What safety? I don't see any first round safety talents.

Both reports mentioned Keanu Neal but we're rather vague simply saying,"a safety". I see Neal and Joseph's showing up at the end of mocks(round one).

Seems like one of those guys might be there in second round but if your top targets are gone and you can cleanup with picks....who knows?

I thinking(perhaps very optimistically)we could trade back a few spots in a trade with Chicago and still get Buckner.

I feel like the Rams would be the favorite to trade up for Goff.

1) They have arguably the worst QB situation in the NFL

2) They are moving to a new city and could use a new, young QB to get fans excited

3) Goff is a somewhat local kid, which would interest more local fans

However, I wonder if Ozzie would even trade down though if there is a player they really like on the board. It might take a king's ransom if they're in love with someone at 6 who wouldn't fall to 15. We think of Ozzie as loving to trade down, but maybe he would stay put if they really liked VH3, for example.

I don't think they would turn down a future first and a 2nd for vh3. I think bosa Jack tunsil and Ramsey are the only ones.

That's of course if we're offered that, which I doubt. I dont see the rams giving up much to move up, they'll probably float a 2nd and 3rd to see if they have any takers and we would turn that down for certain

I think it would be though to turn down the Rams even if they only offered their 15th overall plus their 43rd and 76th for the 6th overall.

First we have to assume Tunsil Ramsey and Bosa are gone. Jack is great but if we get a package like that then heck take the next best ILB and Darron Lee is not that far off.

The Ravens would have (15, 36, 43, 70, 76, 104, 130, 132, 134)

15th overall (Buckner, Lee, Floyd, or Conklin) Will be there.

package 36 and 76 would land an early 20s pick to take BPA

package 70 with 104 and move back into the second BPA

thats 3 potential starters right there and we'd still have a second and three fourths

That's a lot of trades. To be honest, If I had the 20-25th pick I wouldnt move for 36 and 76. Some nice talent early 20s.

I don't think Buckner will be close to 15 but Lawson, Floyd, Dodd, Conklin, Hargreaves or maybe Elliot are possibilities. I don't think OT should be our focus early since I think pass rusher and corner are biggest needs right now and will be harder to get after the 2nd round.

Early 2nd round we'll see a guy slide : Alexander, Artie Burns I love those 2. Maybe Idefi. I would keep the 76 for Cravens or Facrell

Nor has it worked out for teams that had 2 first round picks either if you think about it. See Browns as an example.

Well, the Browns are the Browns. Someone picking random names out of a hat would draft better than the Browns have.

I love MIkes commentary on NFL games. He constantly keeps saying "This guy is so special" about EVERY SINGLE GUY on the field. XD Like, Mike take abreak from all these mock drafts, I don't think they're good for you. :P

He's pretty good at what he's doing tho. A few times he'll miss but most of the time he's right now. He's a draft analyst that sometimes talks like an agent who wants all the players drafted high lol.

This year he's really high on Wentz and Buckner (havent seen anyone yet  call Buckner : maybe the best defensive player of the nfl in a few year)

Jon gruden is worse. Every qb is " jaws I tell ya this kid can do it all!"

But that's what makes MNF enjoyable to watch (at least for me). I think Gruden and Tirico make a fantastic duo IMO.

I actually do like gruden a lot because even though he jock rides way too hard he kinda speaks my language when it comes to football. He doesn't dumb it down and he makes sense still. He just bugs me when it comes to talking about qbs lol

Bad news in my opinion, Cincy is now moving on from Corey Coleman or Josh Doctson as their first round selection, and are now zeroing in on my favorite Sterling Shepard. I told you all he was first round talent and would be a steal in the second. He'll wreak havoc from the slot if Aj Green is on the outside.

Source?

I'm honestly not surprised. agree with you that he's more talented than most guys and I have come along on him having a Phillip Dorsett type of rise.

I would trade pick6 for the rams round1 pick as well  as their round2 and 3 in .02 seconds!! Would trade round1 picks with them for their round2  itself.

Eagles want to move up, most likely to get Goff, which could be great if Cleveland takes Wentz and we get an additional pick plus still land Hargreaves, Lawson, or Buckner.

After resigning Bradford? I would think they reach for Elliot first

They are paying about 25mill for two average or less qbs, I could see them still wanting a qb

So apparently it's a coin flip between Tunsil & Bosa when it comes to the Titans if they can't trade down. They did send a "horde of decision makers" to Florida State's Pro Day to watch Ramsey but it does seem Tunsil is still the favorite to be the number one pick despite everything else we have heard.
