I think I've been over the show with how long I'd keep my font that colour, but I may as well join you in the one year club. And I'd be happy to have done it - I'd gladly change my font and avatar right now if it meant we'd land him somehow and I doubt I'm the only one. The other thing is that if he inexplicably gets past SD I'm still not sold he gets past Jacksonville either - those who do the forum mock saw who I passed on to land him at #4 and I think their FO would see it the same way.

Yeah the Jags do have Beachum now but I think they would be all over Tunsil at 5 as well. I think the only team ahead of us not a threat to take Tunsil is Dallas who would probably trade down with someone in that scenario.

Beachum would essentially become a one-year rental in that situation - play Tunsil at LG (the Ogden special), don't pick up Beachum's four-year option (I can't believe those things exist...) at the end of the 2016 season and kick Tunsil out as your long-term LT. They just moved on from Zane Beadles - who I described to someone else as the James Hurst of LGs - so they wouldn't be shy about upgrading the position right away.

And, like you say, I could imagine the 49ers or Bears giving up anything up to a 2017 1st to move up to 1.4 and take Tunsil themselves. At which point the Cowboys would take the deal, sit back and wait for Zeke Elliott.

Man if we trade down, it better come with a 2017 1st.

Depends on the distance. If we trade down and are still in the top 10, then an extra 2nd round pick this year would be fine. If it's the Rams I'd at least start negotiations with an extra 1st on the table. Though I'd probably take a 2nd this year and a 2nd next year.

Yeah man, sad day. It would be nice for sure but tunsil is the best LT prospect since Walter Jones, none of the other recent OT prospects were sure things even though idiot analysts kept saying they were, tunsil really is the sure thing lol

Brian baldinger, an analyst I've always respected, had zeke going to the cowboys, with Jack going to Jax and bosa falling to us.

Not that his mock means anything, just a thought.

I saw that too. You never know. If Ramsey goes to the Titans, Zeke goes to Dallas and Myles to the Chargers, you know what happens with the Ravens right? Tunsil time! Wishful thinking maybe, but don't rule it out. Last year the Jets got at #6 a prospect that was touted to be #1 ranked for the longest time~

That is true and I was shocked but bosa seems to be the most likely guy to fall like that this year.

Hey, if It happens nobody will be happier than me, tunsil is My favorite prospect since i started following the draft lol

I think Kendall Fuller could fall quite a bit. He didn't do much at his Pro day, so I think that could certainly drop him. I wouldn't be surprised if he fell to the low 2nd, early 3rd round.

I'm fine with any of those names as long as the Browns take a QB. Is anyone predicting a move into the top 5?

You would be the only one most experts have him as a early to mid 2nd

Yeah, I think his prediction is quite wrong. I think Fuller goes somewhere from late first to early third. I think his lack of participation in the combine and pro day could hurt him. That's not good to not participate at either.

Tbh it only matters if the view is he is a sub par athlete. Fuller clearly doesnt show that on tape so I doubt it hurts him much if at all. In all liklihood, it probably just cost him some money as a superior workout could have bumped him up.

The only thing he lacks as an athlete is great long speed. I'd imagine he'd have run in the mid 4.5 at the combine had he run. Other than that, he's got good enough to great measurables

http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15016551/tennessee-titans-gm-jon-robinson-says-team-needs-king-ransom-no-1-pick

Titans GM Jon Robinson doesn't want to give up the #1 pick.

Quote

"There is a group of players that are at the top of the draft, that, you don't want to move back too far cause you can miss out on one of those guys, and if you do move back that far you want to make sure that you have a king's ransom, for lack of a better term, to move that far," he said. "I would say that for us to move out of that pick, it's going to take a substantial amount of picks to do that."

Coach Mike Mularkey also said that Taylor Lewan is "our left tackle until he's not". I thought they'd be a little more willing to shift the pick than most sides with the #1 pick (and focus on upgrading the rest of the OL through cheaper means), but they've also talked up Lewan's ability to play on the right side.

I guess Jon Robinson, along with most other GMs, recognize only 2 truly elite prospects in this draft between Ramsey and Tunsil and don't want to miss a chance at either one.

Here is what the Titans turned down for the #2 pick last year:

http://deadspin.com/report-chip-kellys-eagles-offered-the-titans-a-[profanity deleted]-to-1765706560
A 2015 first rounder (20th overall)
A 2016 first rounder (would have been 13th overall)
A 2015 second rounder (47th overall)
Any quarterback on the roster
Any defensive player on the roster

If this is any indication, they are probably asking way too much for their #1 pick this year

If this is true, have the Titans made a mistake? Probably too early to tell but is Mariota worth that much?

Probably, outside of a massive regression he is a special player at the most important position in football. Mettenberger is just another guy.

If we were picking 2nd overall, needed a QB and moved back 18 spots for that deal? I would find that offer insulting.

particularly in light of the rob griffin haul.

I'm hearing the chargers are in love with Myles Jack. Every team is of course but, this could cause Tunsil to fall if we work under the assumption that Ramsey goes one. I also think it could be an effort to trade back a spot or two on The part of the Chargers.

Another scenario in that light;

Ramsey

Goff- can't help thinking he is closer to what Hue Jackson wants(would not shock me for Cleveland to take Jack which blows everything up,clearly).

Jack

Wentz- I think it quite likely someone goes and gets a QB here

Bosa

Tunsilitis action

Well if they don't take a QB we have major trade bait for whoever wants Goff, I think teams are feigning their interest in him.

My guess is forum shenanigans. It's not the first time that's happened, and it sure as hell won't be the last.

And when I say sure as hell I mean more sure than Tunsil falling to us at 6.
