The Secondary

I'd prefer to draft a player like Bosa, Buckner, or Jack, but if Ramsey is there I couldn't fault the Ravens for taking him.  I think either Hargreaves or Alexander is a major reach where we are picking - I feel there's better value at the CB position from the second round on.

Really nice interview with Jimmy Smith and Shareece Wright on NFLN this AM. Jimmy talked about his struggles early last year coming off the injury and how hard it was keeping up with guys like AJ Green and Amari Cooper when he still couldn't move all that well. How 9 0f our 11 losses were one  score games,  most of them where we gave up a 4th qtr lead, and the key to turning it around is on them to protect a lead at the end of the game. Felt his play got better as the year went on and he re-gained some of his mobility, and is  100% going forward.

Some things I didn't know : Jimmy and Shareece were best friends in high school, Jimmy brought him to our Super Bowl party, where (I assume) he met some of our coaches and staff. Jimmy was a basketball player, says Shareece was the one who taught him how to play football. Shareece also played 4 seasons in San Diego with Eric Weddle, talked about how great it's going to be to have him back there as a "D-Coord on the field."  and how important chemistry is on the back end. It's obvious these guys really love each other, and WANT to play together. Not at all like the last couple years where we just threw together a bunch of cast-offs with no clear leader and hoped for the best.

Both looking real, sharp, rocking the beards ;)

I think Hill starts, and Webby rotates in - can play either position, and pull some disguise packages. Seems like we've really cleaned up our issues in the secondary, I'm getting really excited to watch these guys play, I think they're going to be a lot of fun to watch this year.

Ready for some football!!!!

So we now have 5 corners on the roster, we definitely need to address it early on in the draft. I keep hearing great things about Will Davis but I would feel more comfortable getting another CB in the top 40 picks of the draft.

Personally, I feel that they needed to regardless of the devastating loss of Tray Walker.

In my opinion Will Davis CO Ltd be not just the best on the ravens but the best cornerback in all of football!! He has everything you could ever want. One of my favorite young ravens and everybody knows I'm in favor of the youth flavor!! A young talented team that is getting better every game!! You guys misunderstand my ideas that I do not fully explain cuz I'm always multitasking while I type. Peeps get their panties in a wad when intalk about trading an 11 year veteran for a draft pick. I like a young team that is maturing and ready to kick everybody's butt and chisel out several championships. Even if it means having one bad year. Often with anything worth doing you must take a step backwards before going forward. Who would not be on board with a top15 pick. 2-3 round2 picks 3 round3 picks,4 round4 picks??That could become 4 picks in first 2rounds.

Tbh, I enjoy it. I really do get a kick out of it. Hopefully he continues to do this. Don't change @Winchester, don't change.

Lmao I just read and caugh that. Spell check is going all liberal on me. I said one of the best cornerbacks in football lol and spell check changed several words as always. Anyways I heard he could not practice for weeks then hit the practice game and be the hardest cornerback in practice to beat.

From how little we saw of Will Davis, I was excited to see if he could be a zone corner or nickleback (he seemed to play zone every time I watched him last year). But those ACL injuries can sap your agility. Webb would probably still be playing CB if it wasn't for his ACLs. Maybe Davis can learn to play safety if CB doesn't work out, just like Webb.
