Noah Spence

How would you guys feel about taking him at #6 overall? He is growing on me a lot and after seeing what Von miller did in the Superbowl I think he could be similar in skillset and impact. If it wasn't for his suspension, he would probably be a top 10 pick anyway.

isnt the entire draft board flooded with noah spence conversation already? he has made his way into every thread for the past 2 weeks and there is a thread dedicated to edge rushers already.

^This.  See almost every other thread here for opinions on him.  The idea of him has been widely discussed.

Well I have seen a lot of posts talking about trading back and selecting him. I want to know if everybody would be happy if we went ahead and took him at #6

Noah spence is better than Joey Bosa but will be drafted a #6 because of his history ! LOL  Sorry JoeyFlex5 _-0

I'd be happy with Spence as a trade down option, but he wouldn't be the guy I took at 6 unless the real top tier talents of the draft are taken. I'd say Tunsil, Bosa, Buckner, and Ramsey are potentially the best of this draft. Spence would be in the next tier.

As for the specific Bosa vs Spence talk, I think a motivated Bosa is better. He does need to go to the right team to really light a fire under him, but at his best, he could be the next Terrel Suggs.

At best Bosa will be the new Suggs, at worst Chris Long.

This sums up my own opinion as well.  So I do think Spence is a fit for us at #6, because those four guys are likely to be gone. 

Instead of Bosa, the question may be Spence or Myles Jack?  I think both of them could be there when we're on the clock.  It's a little more apples to oranges comparison.  But it could be a tough choice.  If Jaylon Smith's knee is looking good (how many times have I typed that?) then things get REALLY complicated.

I just wish we could be a little more certain about his pass rush.  I like him better than the guys we have there now.  And I think Frazier's Tampa 2 experience would really help Jack shine here.  But I think an all-the-time pass rusher would help our defense more than a sometimes-coverage-linebacker.
