Agreed. I would rather Joe is in the media because of ridiculously long running jokes, than many of the other less pleasant stories/headlines. I think it is becoming similar to Chuck Norris jokes but in the sports realm. "Top scientists from around the world having spent the last five years seeking out an answer. Is Joe Flacco elite?"

We are back to underdog status? Good! Agree that we play better and things go better when they underestimate us. Last year someone predicted we'd win the SB and it was one of our worst seasons plagued with injuries. At least in 2017 no one will jinx us with SB prediction ?

Flacco is not elite.  Never has been and never will be.  He is what he is just an average overpaid quarterback.

joe in my opinion is not an elite qb. reasons why1. he very seldom looks off his receivers.2.he is terrible throwing when rolling out of the pocket no accuracy at all when rolling out.3. very seldom fake hand offs 4. holds on to the ball way too long.

 

hes just an average qb. he needs to give back some of the money so we can bye more players around him. that is the key of being successful

Joe isn't perfect but as often as I've seen him make indefensible mistakes, I've also seen his receivers fail him during potentially clutch plays. It'll be easier to take the "elite" question seriously after he's had multiple seasons with "elite" pass-catching help like other overrated QBs.
