Going to give my two cents on Megatron. If he was to play and remain in the NFL Next year why is he taking so long to announce his decision? Sure he could still come back next year but the length of which it's taking so makes his answers obvious.

This trade makes me nervous because of slauson being my last decent oline piece, but I just couldn't resist getting Brees

Fellas, the cap numbers on this trade are off. Drew Brees' savings is 20 Stars after the June 1st cut. Jay Cutler's base salary is 16 Stars. Matt Slauson adds 3 Stars in base salary, so the Saints only save 1 Star.

I was thinking the same thing

i I want to make sure we can post multiples bids (especially in final 5).

I did not see anything in the rule thread saying otherwise but I think it is one of those unwritten rules. Probably better if you don't or if you do, don't go gangbusters and put 20 bids out there or something

Okay thanks for rechecking that. But just so I understand correctly, I thought the special cap move would extinguish all of his penalty... He was a 30 mil cap hit so do I not receive 30 stars? Just checking

Pretty happy with some of my 0.5 star signings this go around.  Craig Stevens was the #2 blocking TE according to PFF, and Chris Johnson may be older, but I'll take him for 0.5

Morris is an ideal fit for the ZBS. Very happy with the acquisition.

Definitely a solid pick up.

I'm not sure how I got Mohamed Sanu for 5 stars while Marvin Jones went for 8 stars, that's crazy.

Jones is the better player.

Taking a bit of a risk on Vernon Davis, but as a complimentary piece I think he can be a nice weapon, and at 1 star he's not very costly.

Agreed.  I don't see that as surprising at all.

Yep. Don't get me wrong, I like Sanu. But he's a bit unproven and Jones is a capable No.2 in my eyes.

I like Sanu, as well but Jones is better player imo. Also, he seems like ideal replacement for traded away Doug Baldwin. Price is probably tad high but, hey - it's stars, not $$

It was either Anquan Boldin or Roddy White for me.  I, too, wanted that experience.  Glad I went with Boldin over White now.  Thought maybe I could snag White cheaper but that didn't end up being the case.

I'm very happy to add RB Bilal Powell (1.5 stars), RB Lance Dunbar (0.5 stars) and WR Nate Washington (0.5 stars).

With my cap space and needs I decided to hedge my bets in RB FA as I figured the costs would be cheaper.

Powell really helped the Jets offense out late last year and has always been a good receiving/blocking back. Also has averaged over 4 yards per carry every year with more than 2 games played (1 year). I'll take him as my #2.

Dunbar was the Cowboys shifty 3rd down receiving back last year and was playing pretty well until he tore his ACL (21 receptions in 4 games).

Washington has always been a favorite of mine. I added him last year with the Saints at 1 star. He's always been an underrated WR who has always produced (over 40 receptions and 550 yards every year since 2008). He can play outside and in the slot and provides a veteran presence for my young WR corps (Landry, Parker, Stills and Dorsett).

My RBs won't blow anyone away, but Jay Ajayi, Bilal Powell, Lance Dunbar and Damien Williams should be enough of a combination to provide a decent rushing attack. I'll definitely be good throwing to them.

Tannehill has weapons this year:

RB: Jay Ajayi, Bilal Powell, Lance Dunbar, Damien Williams
WR: Devante Parker, Phillip Dorsett
WR: Kenny Stills, Nate Washington
SWR: Jarvis Landry
TE: Martellus Bennett, Dion Sims, Michael Williams

If there is any Math Expert here that would like to help me with my cap numbers and ensuring it's correct, let me know. I think I calcuated things right but didn't add the roll over so I think I should have more cap room than I say I have. PM me if you want to help. Thanks.

Happy to land Lamar Miller here. I overpaid in both instances, but I did need a TE who could get vertical and this draft isn't particularly strong at that position.
