I won't participate either. I initially liked DaF but somethings really turned me off to it. I'll probably check in every now and then for fun, though.

This is to be expected, but it's amazing how far off our 1st round was.  Remember the man crush this board had with Tyler Boyd.....well he's still available.  My favorite WR in this draft is Sterling Shepard and he is still available.  Can't imagine the Ravens taking him at 36, but I could see them jumping back into the bottom of the 2nd round if he was still available.

I am beginning to suspect that @-Truth- is actually Sashi Brown for the Cleveland Browns due to the amount of picks they are supposedly attempting to accumulate. Either Sashi or Hue Jackson--whoever is responsible for the pick accumulation.

lol And the fact that Coleman was his first selection.

That's a great question. I consciously reached as I normally do so I didn't have many near-misses personally that I was in love with, but I had my eye on Karl JosephJoshua Garnett, Isaac Seumalo when they were close my selection. I unsuccessfully attempted to trade up for Sheldon Rankins and Robert Nkemdiche at some points in time. Would probably roll with Rankins based on value at the time. What about you?

I realize that it'll take time to figure out who was worth his slot and who wasn't, but these near-misses hurt slightly more after last night.

I think the Tunsil pick (ahead of Ramsey, Stanley and Jack - albeit with the latter clearly proving to be the right call) goes to show just how much FOs have access to that we as fans don't. I know we had an inkling that something might have been up with him, but I don't think anyone thought it went beyond being friends with Kim D and some other generic college-y stuff. Definitely not serious enough to pass up in the top three picks. Jack's another one where, in the absence of properly seeing the medical reports, you just have to take a guess.

Looks like the only pick I really screwed the pooch on was Peake.  Some I got sooner than they were drafted, some I got later, overall not bad.  I did get great value on UDFAs though, I think a couple were drafted in the mid rounds.

Didn't do too shabby on the draft this year, but not near as good as last year.  William Jackson, Shilique Calhoun, and Zach Sanchez all went very close to where I got them, and Sanchez actually went to the Panthers.  Biggest miss was Ben Braunecker who I picked in the 5th, but went undrafted.  Picked Jay Lee and Dominique Robertson in the 7th who also went undrafted.  I picked up Anthony Brown and Blake Countess in UDFA, who went in the 6th.  Brandon Doughty was picked up in the 7th.  Made up for the misses, I guess.

My worst seems to have been Devon Johnson, who I took as a UDFA but still hasn't been picked up yet. One hour later it looks like he's signed with the Panthers, so that pick is a wash.

Otherwise, Vernon Butler (went late first, picked up in the early second) and Deiondre Hall (went in the 4th, picked up as a UDFA) went earlier in real life, while Kevin Byard was the big value for me (not my pick by a technicality, but got picked up as a 4th-round comp and went early in the 3rd IRL).

Kyler Fackrell, Jerald Hawkins (went about 20 picks after I got them, but in the same round) and Laremy Tunsil (what a weird situation...) were the ones who went after where I picked them. The biggest "reach" was for Alex McCalister, who I took with my last draft pick (early 5th) but ended up in the middle of the 7th.

- NFL: Round 1, Pick 11 (Buccaneers)
- Totals: -3

LB Su'a Cravens, USC
- Me: Round 2, Pick 11
- NFL: Round 2, Pick 22 (Redskins)
- Total: -11

DT Maliek Collins, Nebraska
- Me: Round 4, Pick 1
- NFL: Round 3, Pick 4 (Cowboys)
- Total: +32

QB Christian Hackenberg, Penn State
- Me: Round 4, Pick 19
- NFL: Round 2, Pick 20 (Jets)
- Total: +66

G Rees Odhiambo, Boise State
- Me: Round 5, Pick 5
- NFL: Round 3, Pick 35 (Seahawks)
- Total: +47

TE Devon Cajuste, Stanford
- Me: Round 6, Pick 32
- NFL: UDFA
- Total: -47 (UDFA considered as pick 254)

Totals: +84 for my 6 player draft class.

- Best value = Christian Hackenberg (+66)
- Worst value = Devon Cajuste (-47)
- 3 positive, 3 negative values. However, 2 of the 3 negatives combined for a total of -14, so not much

*Note that we didn't take away the Chiefs 3rd rd pick, so there's technically 1 spot different on a lot of picks due to this

UDFAs That Were Drafted:

QB Cody Kessler, USC
- Me: UDFA Round 4
- NFL: Round 3, Pick 31 (Browns)
- Total: +161 (UDFA considered as pick 254)

QB Jeff Driskel, Louisiana Tech
- Me: UDFA Round 5
- NFL: Round 6, Pick 32 (49ers)
- Total: +47

OT Halapoulivaati Vaitai, TCU
- Me: UDFA Round 4

- Total: +90

G Parker Ehinger, Cincinnati
- Me: UDFA Round 4
- NFL: Round 4, Pick 7 (Chiefs)
- Total: +149

DT Vincent Valentine, Nebraska
- Me: UDFA Round 1
- NFL: Round 3, Pick 34 (Patriots)
- Total: +158

Totals: +605 from UDFA selections

- Two 3rd round picks, one 4th, one 5th and one 6th
- My entire UDFA Round 4 was drafted and high: Kessler (3rd), Ehinger (4th) and Vaitai (5th)
- I thought I hit a home run in UDFA and the draft just confirms this in my opinion. I feel like I had an excellent UDFA class. Five UDFAs drafted in high places too (two on day 2).

Overall, this is probably my most successful draft based on NFL Draft comparison. We'll see what that correlates to in a few years after they play.

Fuller and Anthony are the guys I think I took earlier than they will go. Brothers could go either way depending on if teams are afraid of his combine numbers. No regrets

Pretty much went how I expected. Fuller and Anthony fell and teams were afraid of the combine numbers Brothers put up. Did get nice value on David Onyemata though so that is fine.

Like the situations my guys are all in though

In light of the Draft, I feel like the second round was probably my strongest round. Getting Sheldon Rankins + Karl Joseph, both early-mid first rounders I feel like those two were steals in light of getting Bosa on top of both of them.

Seriously bummed Bosa didn't fall in real life though. He would have been a serious impact player in Baltimore.

Well I missed on some and hit on others, which is to be expected.  Don't think I did this at the end of last years, so I don't have much to go by in regards to how I did on a whole.  I had 13 picks with 4 of my picks going undrafted.  Two were players I  took in the 5th round and two were players taken in the 6th round.  However, I also hit on a few of my later round as well as early round picks.  For example Dak Prescott I picked in the 6th and Termarick Hemingway I picked in the 7th and they went 4th and 6th respectively.     I also picked Sean Davis in the 4th round and he went in the 2nd round to the Steelers.   I was pretty close with the three DT I took in the 2nd and 3rd.

Anyway, for the most part I'm pleased, but I have areas I could improve on.

Thoughts?

·         Round 1, Pick 7 - Ronnie Stanley | OT | Notre Dame
NFL Round 1, Pick 6 (Ravens)
Total: +1

·         Round 1, Pick 15 - Laquon Treadwell | WR | Ole Miss
NFL Round 1, Pick 21 (Vikings)
Total: -6

·         Round 2, Pick 17 - Chris Jones | DT | Mississippi State
Round 2, Pick 6 (Chiefs)
Total: +11

·         Round 2, Pick 20 - Austin Johnson | DT | Penn State
Round 2, Pick 12 (Titans)
Total: +8

Round 3, PIck 7 - Adolphus Washington | DT | The Ohio State University
Round 3, Pick 17 (Bills)
Total: -10

·         Round 4, PIck 2 - Sean Davis | FS/SS | Maryland
Round 2, Pick 27 (Steelers)
Total: +42

Round 5, PIck 10
Jack Allen | OC | Michigan State
UDFA
Total: -103

·         Round 5, Pick 28 John Theus | OT | Georgia
Round 5, Pick 6 (49ers)
Total: +22

·

·         Round 5, Pick 36 Keyarris Garrett | WR | Tulsa
UDFA

·         Total: -78

·         Round 6, Pick 4 Jason Fanaika | DE / OLB | Utah
UDFA
Total: - 74

·         Round 6, Pick 6 Eric Striker | SS / OLB | Oklahoma
UDFA

·         Total: - 72

·         Round 6, Pick 20 - Dak Prescott | QB | Mississippi State
NFL Round 4, Pick 37 (Cowboys)

Total: +60

·         Round 7, Pick 30 - Termarrick Hemingway | TE | South Carolina State
NFL Round 6, Pick 2 (Rams)
