[News] Poll: Who Do You Want To Win Super Bowl 50?

46 posts in this topic

I'm really on the fence with this one.  I'd like to see Peyton get a Superbowl ring so he can retire on top, but Cam has been amazing this year.

So who do I want to win the Superbowl.. the Ravens. :D

As I'm a long-time Carolina resident - the Panthers are my co-NFC team (along with the Vikings), so I'm rooting for them, rather than against the Broncos. I understand the distaste for the Broncos because of Elway, but I don't harbor nearly as much ill-will against him as many Baltimoreans do.

For me, it is nice to be rooting for a team, rather than against a team for a change. That seems to be quite rare. Rooting against the Pats, Steelers and Indy gets old. In the 12 super bowls prior to this one, 10 have involved one of these 3 teams. The other two involved us and the Seahawks v. Broncos (which I simply didn't care about the outcome).

Sorry, I just can't root for another team. Now if the question had been "Who do you THINK will win?" that would be different...I don't care who wins, let's do FA, The Draft, and open training camp again real soon!

If you'd asked me this question a couple of years ago it would be a slam dunk answer - Peyton Manning. Today, the answer is the exact opposite for several reasons. Cam Newton! He's grown on me and I'm able to look past his antics and frame his cockiness as confidence. Now, I think he's the most electrifying player in the NFL, and has led his team to a 17-1 record so far. I want him to win the SB too.

both deserve to win but it would be nice to see manning retire a champion like lewis was able to. manning has been a class act his entire career.

I spent many years rooting for Indianapolis (& therefore Petyon) TO LOSE! because of their midnight Mayflower misappropriation. But eventually, I relented since Peyton was too good a guy. As much as I would like Peyton to go out on top, I like what Keuchley (I wanted him for the Ravens!) and Cam are doing. Cam won me over giving TD footballs out to kids.

I am pulling for the Panthers to win but if the Broncos win that would be OK. After the Ravens were eliminated it does not really matter to me. I look at players who I think deserve a Super Bowl ring and
I want to see get a ring before their time runs out for example: J. Allen, D. Ware, Keuchley, C.Newton, V. Miller, O. Daniels, a 2nd one for P. Manning, D. Thomas and Olsen it just would be nice for these guys to get a ring before they have to hang up the cleats and retire. This is the reason we need to get another Super Bowl win next year for guys like SSS and Dumervil both those guys deserve a ring before they retire.

Agreed!  Too bad because I have a lot of respect for Peyton, he just played for two teams I can't stand,

Of coarse I would want Gary Kubiak to get a Superbowl 50 ring..!
If he was our O coordinator ! I'm happy for his resurgence, right up to the time he decided to go to Denver.
Sorry Peyton, this is going to be the Cam Newton show.

Well I guess I couldn't have been more wrong !

Congrats Peyton. . .

I still dont like donkey faced Elway !

I want the Ravens to win, but since that is not possible this year I will watch for the commercials and hopefully see a good game. Also....there is beer! GO RAVENS!

I think the Panthers are gonna win but be careful. Everybody is voting against the Broncos and remember everybody was against us to win in the Super Bowl and look what happen the opposite. Usually underdogs have a huge advantage because they don't have a high expecting among themselves and the Panthers have huge pressure to perform well in the SuperBowl. Another thing is the uniforms. Since the year 2000, only 4 SuperBowls (If l have it correctly 2x Patriots, Bucs, Packers) have won using the home uniforms so that means mostly teams that wear there road uniforms (white jerseys) for some reason wins the SuperBowl. So l'm not counting the Broncos out.

Just want Peyton to play well today despite his diminished arm. Would be nice to see Peyton do a Ray Lewis type victory ride off in to the sunset to wrap up a stellar career.

Just think Ed Dixon and Michael Orr could have two rings! Safety, vacated last offseason by current Broncos starter Darian Stewart after just one year with the Ravens, is another position Bisciotti said needs to be addressed.

Carolina all the way. It will be tough, but Peyton has a ring and a bust waiting 5 years after he retires. It would be good to see a new team get a ring.
