[News] Top Senior Bowl WR Sterling Shepard Uses Steve Smith As Inspiration

Shepard in the slot is really a piece of the puzzle we need. Team him with a deep threat(Perriman or maybe Fe:Benjamin) and our play making Te's ,and we should be Gr8 on Offense!

Sarah, I'm a huge fan of Sheppard. I can't believe you wrote this story. Ozzie might want you to scout receivers from this point on!

Completely agree. And if they move back they can still get another player relatively quickly. There is a bounty to be had and why shouldn't it be us reaping it.

Perriman as advertised. SSSr mentoring Shepard/Boyd/BMiller in the slot. (referenced in order), Aiken. Paired with Forsett out the back field. Talking about epic potential for our organization.  Boyle, Gilmore, Madmaxx. and adding another option going forward in the running back (C.J.Prosise/ somebody) category would bode well.

I'm stoked at the possibilities. The draft seems to long. I'm just impatient lol. Buts it's fun to play make a wish. Seemingly what is posted via media never comes to pass like a jinx. I'm praying that we pull it off this year. I mean praying. Let's go Ozzie, you can do this.

If he is available in the 3rd round he will be an awesome pick. With SSR's age and Campanaro's injury history, I think he'll make for an outstanding 2nd or 3rd receiver as long as we have Perriman healthy.

Doesn't matter about the big play ability if your not getting open to receive the ball. Shepard runs great routes and is able to create separation. He mostly played slot but he can also line up outside. Whoever they draft at WR just make sure they can create space to be a legit target plus you know the hands to catch reliably. Ravens trade back in first round for an additonaly 2nd round pick, take Noah Spence first round. 2nd round Sterling Shepard & Bronson Kaufusi. I'm thinking Ramsey is taken before they are on the board int he first.

That wouldn't be a bad draft at all. He'll trade back up in second in get a dB and we're set. All depends on how FA goes though. But those players along with Ramsey, vh3, and darian Thompson

I like Shepard for the Ravens, He can be the punt/kick returner in the short term spelling SSS when needed. And would allows us to part ways with Campanaro who is a walking injury report. Shepard is better than Camp by far even with Camp's pro experience.

Miller unfortunately, is an Ohio St. WR, just don't trust them in the pros.
Miller looks like a developmental WR that the Ravens don't have time for.

I think Shepard will be a legit NFL WR. There is something about those undersized guys that want it more than everyone. Steve Smith, Antonio Brown, Julian Edelman, Odell Beckham.
