my opinion, ray lewis is the best player ever to have played the game. here's he reasons why 1. leadership everyone respected him.2.played the game with passion, and never complained. and played his position the best anyone ever played it.

IF, we actually draft Bosa w/ our 6th pick, is he an instant starter?  If Suggs comes back 100% healthy

where does Bosa get his reps? Does he play run downs allowing Doom to go back to his role of 2014 coming

in on passing situations?  Curious to know how he would be utilized if we select him.

Did you read the article?  B/C I'm wondering what your comment has to do w/ Ray Lewis' son signing to play football at Utah St?

I think he would be used in a situations like the Broncos put Shane Ray in this last year. Suggs and Dumervil are not getting younger and I think Bosa would be awesome to sub in for them, also in passing situations as an extra pass rusher, and against the run. He is really highly rated against the run in college and I think he could take over an Upshaw type role as well. My question is with his play dipping down this last year is he still going to be disruptive in the passing game in the NFL or is he only going to be good for stopping the run. Because we need pass rushers and if he can do that and he comes here to play then I think being behind Suggs and Dumervil would be great.

In 2 short years, SSR has become such an integral part of the Ravens, it is surreal. He has transformed into the perennial Raven stalwart. Now, I'm hoping he just decides to retire a Raven because there is nobody who plays more like a Raven than SSR!

I think there would be plenty of options :) You can always find a way to use great players. If we get Bosa the pass rush should be fun to watch

As much as SSS has done for this team in the short time he has been here he still absolutely has to retire a Panther. He is Carolina's Ray Lewis. I think he and the panthers front office put their differences aside and they induct him into their ring of honor and eventually HOF as a Panther. The fans absolutely love him there and isnt that what it's all about long term?

I would love for him to retire a Raven BTW, just dont see it happening.

Well, Derrick Mason did and I would like to believe SSR feels more alive as a Raven than he did as a Panther and I'm sticking to my hope...

Good point. I hope so too, it's just that I've lived in NC and have seen how much of a fan favorite Smith is there even after he left.

Let's hope he feels as home here as Mase did! Too bad he didnt start his career in Baltimore because you are so right that he plays like a Raven more than most.

Love Steve Smith Sr

My guess would be somewhat of a 3-down rotation, at least on passing downs at the outset.

We pretty much know Suggs and particularly Dumervil are far less effective when they play a large amount of snaps, so there's plenty to go around.

Derrick Mason played almost as many years here as he did in Tennessee. I think SSS played 14 years in Carolina, compared to 3 here.

I'm firmly of the opinion Noah Spence is a better selection over Joey Bosa. The only question is a matter of if the Ravens are satisfied with the off-field concerns. Might even be able to trade back a bit and accrus another 2nd rounder, etc. I just don't see Bosa as explosive off the edge as Spence. Bosa brings the bull rush and Spence wins with speed and technique mostly with the ability to bull rush. Just saying Spence looks closest to the guys he'd be brought in to eventually replace and learn from.

The Greek.... I am with you there.... I shudder to think of all the high defensive draft picks that Pees has made look bad. 1st rounder Elam, 2nd rounder Arthur Brown, 2nd Rounder Upshaw (while he hasn't really been bad he has not lived up to expectations either) 3rd rounder Terrence Brooks, 4th rounders John Simon, Christian Thompson and 5th rounders Asa Jackson and Tray Walker.... Bottom line is If you are a DB under Pees you are not going to cut it... and that he has not gotten much out of many high picks from 2012 to 2015.... ( he has had some decent ones to but ...still seem to be not getting the most out of some of these investments) Could he really make Joey Bosa look like a bad pick??? or Jalen Ramsey???

yea its all Dean Pees' fault. if it weren't for him all of those players you have mentioned would surely be perennial pro bowlers.

Just exactly how does a coach make a player look bad?

pees pressed the wrong button on the controller in the boot which is why elam missed the tackle.
probably due to some lag as well.

he probably is also the 1 who cause brooks to get injured and apperently its also his fault daryl smith is better  then brown, not to mention ozzie drafting the better player in mosley.

ow its also pees fault brown cant play special teams well which is why orr is active everytime.

lets not even start on all late rounders Pees has not been able to turn into all-pro like everyone else in the league is managing to do apparently.....

In a passing situation, I would have all 3 on the field. The more the merrier. He would definitely play on run downs. Doom held up nice this year, but is better suited for just passing situations. If you have all three, you have to use them. Bad news is, if we draft Bosa and resign Upshaw, Upshaw will be the odd man out.

Sarah, Super Bowl XL was played 10 years ago. The NFL dumbed down Super Bowl L to Super Bowl 50 to make things simpler for millennials.

LOLOL!!!  Yeah, that's probably it.  God forbid that sometimes players don't play up to their expectations.

I have mocked Bosa to us multiple times, if he is not available, Ramsey or Buckner certainly will be so I would be glad with any of those players! Bosa's motor will dominate with suggs and doom occupying the tackles.

Wow... this is a new one for me.

I didn't realize that DC's could make people tackle poorly or get injured. What a revelation!

What's more laughable is the fact that some of the guys you listed who aren't on this team anymore are not doing literally anything in this league elsewhere. I guess their DC is terrible too...
