Interesting read over on ESPN site. I thought "15 mil was huge amount of money back then" but it wasn't for Elway, he blew the exact same amount elsewhere:

Anamazing read and thanks for the article. Its astounding to me how much the value of an NFL franchize has spiraled. A 646% increase in value in 18 yrs blows my mind.Couldnt have happened to a nicer guy that totally spit on the city of Baltimore. Comebacks are a B!
