We may, I have family in Deep Creek and the 'Burgh. The Pittsburgh fans that are actually from Pittsburgh are actually a lot nicer then the ones that come to the Vault.
my wifes folks live up there too. Deep Creek that is. We have talked about going to a steelers game. Not this one mind you. Cant afford all that.

Good luck getting tickets for this one. A lot of Steelers' fans were t.o'd about the number of Cowboy fans that showed up in week 13. Not too many are going to part with playoff tickets.

Win or lose you guys have nothing to worry about in Pittsburgh. I've been to many games and the fans are a lot more friendly than most teams stadiums I've been to. I've tail gated with opposing teams fans before a game. Walk the parking lot before the game, I'm sure you'll come across some Stiller fans that are hospitable. Your biggest problem will be finding Steelers fans willing to part with their tickets. I so wish I could be there, it's going to be a great game.

Why is there so much BS , people telling RAVENS you don't want to go to Pitts for the game is it really that bad or are they just trying to intimidate the FANS, so there is not a sea of purple? Why are we going to allow PITTS to intimidate the Purple Pride!!!

Its not bad at all. 99% of real Pittsburgh fans (not the bandwagon jumpers) are friendly, just very intense about football. It is hard to get tickets though, most would rather let the seats go empty than sell them to an opposing teams fans. I'm still working on getting mine.

As long as you don't direct your cheering AT the Pittsburgh fans you have nothing to worry about at Heinz Field. I am season ticket holder going on 5 years now, and I have never seen anyone beat up or spit on, etc at Heinz Field simply because they were wearing the other team's colors.

Be prepared to face some good natured ribbing and verbal abuse, but that's about it.

All that being said, I HATE THE RAVENS. GO STEELERS!!!

Where did you get your tickets and how much were they? (If you don't mind me asking) I'm trying to find reasonable tickets too.

Just found my tickets on baltimore's craigslist. Upper level sideline row z(forget the section), but they were $200/ticket.

So, where is the tailgate gonna be? I want to walk in with a large crew.

P.S. Even though a couple of Steeler guys are saying the fans won't be bad, they sure as hell won't be as nice as the Titans fans were.

Lets just go in as modest & humble fans wearing our colors and if the mess with us....just smile and turn the other way. The last thing you want to do is piss off the whole stadium.

That my friend is how most fans should visit the other teams stadium, I live here in Pittsburgh and have seen the full spectrum of pain in the rear fans from both sides. There is nothing worse then having a fan come to a place and act like Joey Porter! That said I love my Ravens chances and cannot wait til Sunday, as long as we can control the clock and put the wood to Ben it will all be good and proper in the universe.

8 of us going up Sunday morning and staying the night at Quality Suites, 700 Mansfield Ave. Pittsburgh. 3 miles from stadium with free shuttle to and fro...$120 double occupancy.

We will get there late morning and be looking for Bars, tailgaters. Have not heard of any "Ravens" Bars.

I'm new to the message board scene and this is my first message board I've joined, glad to be here. My wife and I are goin to the game on Sunday. To find tickets I googled AFC championship tickets and it brought up pages up websites. They all were around the same price but they all had a ton of tickets, if you're willin to pay. I brought my tickets from a website called TicketNow.com that I found on the Ravens website. We're sittin in 223. The thing that makes this site different is the processing fee isn't outragous, plus you get 10% off Ravens tickets. Hope this helps those of you lookin for tickets. Would love to see alot of Ravens fans up there.

I also know someone that has one 50 yard line club level seat for sale. Let me know if someone wants it..

I have 8 of us heading up tomorrow night. We have tickets in sect. 513 rows bb and cc and will be looking for some Raven faithfull. The last I had heard in regards to Saturday night was that 105.7 the fan was setting up a Ravens party at The Original Fish House and of course WNST is having a pregame party at the Sheraton on Sunday. I went down to Nashville and their parties were a lot of fun. Look forward to seeing a lot of purple and black take over Pittsburgh.
