It often takes longer selecting at the end because it's normally teams you know very little about or teams you equally don't want. Whereas earlier you have a clear target or 2/3 in mind.

I was more bouncing of what grim said about less gifs this year. I also think there needs to be less off topic conversation. The last thread was something like 150 pages long, wig probably a 3rd of it posts that had no relevance to the game.

 

I know it's a downtime now but, after grim mentioning the gifs I thought I'd mention that as well.

Also with the threads having more posts on them per page it's tedious to have to wait for the longer load time and have to scroll all the way through to get to the new post

Honestly, the only factor why the Patriots weren't a shoe in for my selection was their loss of the 1st round selection.

I figured that was why they were still available, but compared to the overhauls the other teams need it was the best choice. I just glanced at the saints payroll for next year and it's hard to fathom how terribly they have been run.

Other than my absolute hatred for them, that lack of 1st rounder was what pushed me away as well.  Otherwise, they would have been in strong contention for my pick.  Not the best cap situation but that team doesn't need much.

Considering that summoning players has been around for years now, I would. You gonna throw another fit like this when someone makes a joke about Barry Church or how about that Long list of puns last year? It is called having fun, if you want a super serious thread, there are plenty of them in Ravens Talk. 

And I don't care about basketball which makes it even funnier. Going on about the majority of the thread being irrelevant when most of it is about who is up, who is being selected, and our thoughts on those selections with the occasional off topic bit when it slows down and we make jokes to entertain ourselves is a bit odd. This is probably the most sidetracked the thread has been so congrats.

If you don't like not having a completely relevant thread when the game has not even started, then don't come in here and we will just PM you everything. Heck you are in the coco so you should know if anything relevant happens anyways since you get a PM from the conversation.

More than understandable. They have enough pieces where you can easily maneuver around the lack of the 1st.

Tbh they're one of the few sides that could sit on their hands for the whole offseason and still be a top five Super Bowl favourite next year. Losing the first rounder obviously hurts, but personally I don't think they'll truly feel the ramifications of that for another three years or so.
