I never did get notifications for that.  Suspect it doesn't work.  At least the spam-level emails have stopped.

@rmw10 @52520Andrew I had those notifications automatically disabled when the options arrived. I just had to retoggle them manually and it's fine now.

Not that either of you guys will get a notification of me mentioning you to tell you that.

The star and circle no longer being clickable after clicking once is sooooo annoying! 

 

Also, a faster version (similar to the blazing speed that was thd IP Board Mobile) would be awesome.  Makes zero sense that was taken away from us.

For some reason after post something and someone quotes me, I can't post anything else in that topic page. It only has me quote the person who quoted me ( even though I'm not trying to quote anyone) and won't let me type anything. It will only let me edit the persons quote to me. Please help.

Are you going into the thread from the notification?  Try skipping that and going into the thread as if it's the first time.

No I've been going straight into the thread, and I don't even receive notifications for some reason. But I guess its only one thread I have a problem with since I can type in here with no problem.

I've noticed previous quotes sometimes showing up as well. I can remove them by Ctrl+Z though and am always able to type into comment box.

Often times when I go to post in a thread, it somehow remembers and copies a previous post.  That previous could have been from a week prior even (since the speed of the forum sucks now and I find myself here a lot left often).

 

One would think as things progress and supposedly get better, so would speed.  The IP Board Mobile was crazy fast.  This is still so damn slow when comparing to that.

I run into that issue with PMs.  I start a new one and find it pre-filled with something from days ago.

OK are things still being worked on? I've almost given up completely using my phone to get on in post.  It still fills in old quotes when I try to quote a new one.   Then I can't even type in a a response when a question about present.... What's going on?

It's not just mobile, I experience this using my desktop pc as well.  

On my desktop, I delete the "old" quote that's put in, hit refresh and then it allows me to quote the comment that I want.

This forum is just about unnavigatable on a phone and that is all I use for this board.  Slow, adds old quotes when replying, freezes...its absolutely horrendous (especially when the previous platform was fantastic and fast as can be). 

PLEASE BRING BACK IP BOARD MOBILE!

The site crashed my mobile browser three times in the space of 25 minutes this morning (Chrome on an HTC if it helps). Is there a way to at least have the option to get the old mobile skin back? Like the old format did? The simplicity of that made browsing on mobile a lot easier.

does anyone have problems typing on mobile platforms? mine skips around, ill be typing a response then It just skips up and starts adding in letters to the quoted text.  This is an abomination

Yes, I'd like to repeat the 2 or 3 posts above here.  Again, ATTEMPTING to navigate this place on a phone is impossible.  And considering 70% of all Internet activity is from mobile devices these days, massive fail on Ravens part!  If one of my developers came to me with a new site idea with NO mobile option, I'd laugh them right out the door to the unemployment line.  This is pathetic!

I am curious because 80% of the time I am on here is mobile  ( Galaxy S6 ) and I am having zero problems.

It is now almost impossible to send a new PM via mobile. The second you start typing in the box, it loads the inbox to block it.

Note 4.  Even just now I just had to post a response, then delete it and then quote you since it kept grabbing a post I quoted probably a week ago.  This place sucks now.  And don't get me started on the speed.  If you didn't use the IP Board Mobile before, then its likely no difference.

Using windows 10 with Chrome browser ........ not happy  seems to log me out daily never accepts the same log in method  I have to switch between email and display name ......... who wrote the code on this a middle school class?   or did you outsource ............. please fix the issues before Camp starts ......
