New Layout

What is up with this new setup? I don't know if its just in Mobile or what..but this new layout is absolutely awful. I am having all kinds of problems with posting and getting around the forum. Is this permanent and is anybody else having similar issues?

This new layout doesn't show me quoted posts. It's really unbearable but it's okay (so far) other than that.

Yes is the new updates with all its bells and whistles, it's a learning curve for all of us.  The entire NFL is going to this.

Um...ugh. My first impression is not a good one at all. Difficult layout to follow. Hopefully it will grow on me.

I'm having an extremely hard time maneuvering around the board and not only that I am having trouble with replying to posts, the cursor keeps redirecting elsewhere and sometimes it won't even let me backspace to correct a typo. Very frustrating.. I'm not one to complain at all and il deal with it but I absolutely loved the forum how it was, If it ain't broke don't fix it.

When we went to the 'old' forum you loved---- people hated it!  I'm going to start a 'bug list' anything you find not working please put it on the list and I will take it to the developers.

This is what we mods were told:. It's mobile-friendly and mobile-responsive so there will no longer be a separate mobile skin. And any features or anything you can do on the desktop side, you will be able to do on mobile!

Please note that the upgrade may not be complete until tomorrow.

We are aware it is going to take time to learn the new features.  Please keep in mind it's pretty new to us too.  But I like what I see, and it appears a lot more user friendly.   Things we weren't able to do before, we can now.

 

One feature that I do like folks...   If you neg someone and didn't mean to, you can correct it.   

The emoji's are a lot easier to scroll through as well.  These are just a few of the little things you'll find easier.

One thing that would help this quite a bit is a way to get back to the main page of the forums. The old version had this and it was quite useful when backing out of a topic. Maybe there is one for this version but I have not seen it yet.

 

One big plus though is being able to enter page numbers in. Really gonna be helpful on mobile.

Near the top of the page ( under the banners) you can click either Forums or Home to get to the main forum page.

You can also use the breadcrumbs to jump back to the forum you're reading.

After browsing around a bit, looking at some features, I think this will be an improvement once some little bugs are worked out. This is from my laptop though so can't say how it will work for mobile.

 

The look is different and will take some getting used to though.

Just got on desktop and I see what you are talking about there but I do not see that on the mobile version. What I have started to do is go under the folder and go under browse and then hit forums but it would be easier if there were just a button at the top to take you to the main forums page like in the older version.

On mobile the Baltimore Ravens logo at he top of ever page should take you to the forums home page as a hyperlink thingy. That's an easy addition.

One other big positive that I have just seen on here is that the posts seem to stick around which is great. I can leave this post, go into another section, and then come back and it is still there(on desktop at least). I even closed my browser and then came back and the post was still there. Have not tried to see if this works if I start typing another post somewhere else(it doesn't but that would have been even crazier) but still pretty sweet.

Use the full version.  It is now mobile friendly.

Alrighty then. Well I follow a lot of topics and there used to be a list of topics (or content or whatever it is) that has replies that I haven't read. Thing was, it only showed the topics and not every reply. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
