My best guess is board account is associated with twitter account, so tweets show up in status. No idea how often the two are synced though if that's the case.

I see no real point in doing that as any actual status updates are getting flooded out for the most part by it. And that random members list is still there for some reason

So, this guy has been visiting the board for little less than a month after joining in 2011 and clearly had no intention to participate in 4 1/2 years. Why the heck do we need to see what has he retweeted?

I'm guessing even the mods are pissed at this new change - I saw a few political comments filter through yesterday and if we're getting the Twitter feeds of 20,000 members who clearly don't care about the forum rules (because they haven't been on the forum since before we won our latest Super Bowl) it'd be near impossible to enforce.

They're telling is it's something about rebuilding indexes and should be temporary.  We sure hope so.

We had an update roll out yesterday.

Has there been any talk about the random, completely pointless members list on the right side of the screen, like Andrew mentioned?  Seems like a complete waste considering we have the same thing at this bottom.

We're convinced it is a bug since we're not set to link with Twitter.  I guess we have to wait on Invision for a fix.  In the meanwhile, we cringe a lot and remove a lot is status updates that are clearly inappropriate.  People really need to filter themselves.

I really WISH we could. It was a real problem last week when a HORRIBLE post about Tray Walker, which we had deleted, showed up two days later as a quote. Just awful stuff.

Looks like the 'status' area on the right has been fixed but something happened in last half hour to whack the main link bar out of position and scale/size whenever you click one of the links on it:

 

 

And it's not browser related, happens on both Firefox and Chrome.

Not entirely a question in regards to the new format, but the profanity filter. There's a guy in the draft named Aziz [crap]tu. Legitimately, what happens if we draft him? Can we put in a request to let that one pass by or something? He was picked in the forum mock and now I'm just genuinely curious what would happen lol
