Same thing was said about Maxx last year. Shouldn't stop us if we really like him.

But to be fair a 2nd rounder with arrogant interviews is different than a possible top 10 pick, depending on what the problem is it may very well not be worth it, I wouldn't gamble a #6 overall pick on someone who may be a bad influence in the lockerroom

Agreed. He has concerns already and while I feel like they're behind him, he needs to interview well to really be a top ten pick. If he can't do that then I wouldn't touch him in the first and I'm sure actual GMs feel the same.

This is how things could shake out at the top of the draft and a few of our picks:

1. Titans- Tunsil- Protect Mariota period.

2. Browns- Whichever QB the football gods hate.

3. Chargers- Ramsey- Replacement for Weddle.

4. Cowboys- Bosa- replacement for Hardy.

5. Jaguars- Buckner- Him and Fowler and I think they believe Ramsey doesn't slip to them and sign Weddle or another veteran safety.

6. Ravens- Spence- ideally I would like us to trade down with the Rams and pickup their 2 2nd rounders and their first next year and then take Spence- this is of course assuming there are no problems and he performs well at the Senior Bowl and the Combine.

2nd Round- Boyd

3rd Round- Dahl

4th Round- Cyrus Jones

There it is my mock draft. Please be gentle while mocking it.

Yeah Mack was a spectacular run defender as a rookie so comparing him to Spence is a bit off. Think it has already been addressed but just in case.

Adding to the QB gone WR route I remember Matt Jones making the transition and his big showing was him at the Senior Bowl. he made some preside catches in the red zone I remember and then he blew up the combine and went in the first...I think he was one pick before we took Mark Clayton, I was so happy at the time. Anyway he did not transition well to say the least, not that that means anything for Braxton Miller...but i would be cautious and at this point could not do the second round like some people are touting

Boy that's name I haven't heard in a very long time.  I remember everone the Matt Jones hype train going through the roof.  Think that was 2005 or something like that.

For real. You think we'd learn our lesson by now.

this says it best.

but on the topic of wrs and senior bowl... i am very impressed by braxton miller. some of the moves i saw him put on guys in 1v1 drills really opened my eyes and made me look into him, i think this kid could be special and i really think he is, at the very least, a day 1 rotational wr and a future league-leader in YPC sort of like torrey in year 2, but i see a more consistent catcher than torrey and a more explosive player in general.

also, i think he offers some very intriguing return abilities as a rookie, even if he ends up looking like more of a project than a quick contributor, then he would likely be a starting return ace and would be dangerous in that role while he learns to be a better wr, and being a very smart kid and a high football IQ guy i do think he becomes a legit wr one day. if he is there in the tail end of the 2nd i would start blowing phones up looking for a trade to get him. dare i say, he has the highest ceiling of any wr in this draft, not saying he has even a strong chance of reaching that ceiling, but he would be an excellent fit here.

There go first sack by Spence. I don't know if he can beat NFL tackle that way but that quick move from outside in is juking these guys every time.

Lot of pretty good DTs this year. I don't think Ozzie will be able to resist temptation because some of them are going to be pushed down the board.

I think so to and can't remember a draft where The Ravens haven't drafted defensive tackle/end in the past 4 years.

The game should replay on NFL network around midnight but I have to check and see.

I AM late to this thread but I want Noah Spence badly in the second round.

Bump treadwell

Drop down to 16-17 and pick up an extra 2nd round pick

Grab a solid CB Alexander or WR

Then grab Noah in the second.. Lawd his get off is unreal.

I don't think Spence falls into the second in any world unless his interviews are just horrendous.

I agree but he might drop. Kid lied twice and lied to his father. That might drop him down a little bit. Totally agree though it only takes one team to love him.

He'll be similar to Randall Cobb in the sense that both are former quarterbacks that were able to rush for over 1,000 yards, then converted to receiver. Cobb, however, had the chance to play receiver for two years and show remarkable improvement.

Miller is a former quarterback and a very cerebral one at, so I don't doubt he can learn the position.

I said guys I heard from good sources he has jumped Doctson and Boyd. Like I said don't bicker like a nosey neighbor. just watch him play and determine if it makes sense.lol , Catching up on work and can't watch it til later. What am I missing?? Who looks good?? Any surprises?? Washington still looking good?? How is McRoberts, Ragland and Jones looking.

Braxton Miller is interesting prospect but right now I don't think he is worth day 2 pick as a WR. One-on-one drills in practice are lot different then game situations, which showed today.

I sincerely hope it's on another day. I'm not staying up that late when I have work again tomorrow lol. Anyone know when and if it even replays?

It's not scheduled until Sunday 1PM. Can't see schedule after that time (NFL network)

Correction, no replays at all on Sunday - looks like all the slots will be filled with numerous Super Bowl highlights and replays of the Pro Bowl.
