Braxton Miller's getting some rave            reviews. If he's fast I'd take him.

He has good speed and has dropped more weight is around 200 now I believe I read I would be interested to see what he runs I relieve he was 4.4 ish at 225-230 as a QB

Noah Spence is playing well, and he is one of my favorite guys in the draft.

I'd love to see Ozzie trade up into the late 1st round and pick up Spence.

spence looks like a man amongst boys out there and there is some quality OL play in the senior bowl this year.

i was iffy on him in the top 10 but if ozzie went ahead and pulled that trigger, id be behind it 100%, he will be the best pass rusher from this class and is a prototype OLB for us, no worries about fits or holding up physically or a lack of bend, just quite honestly a perfect prospect for us in terms of ON the field.

Apparently Braxton Miller has already shown a wide variety of releases off the line, the ability to vary his speeds and use head fakes to separate at the top of his routes, and good hands in traffic.

He's far from a finished prospect, but so far he's looking strong.

Yes watching highlights on NFL network now I'm a biased Buckeye fan but wow he has improved even since the season ended watching him go against some of the top CBs I felt he needed some work but maybe it's just the Ohio St way with the running but Braxton has shown me a lot in the 2 days of practice

Yes I agree the question is interview process and where does he get drafted I doubt the 2nd or 3rd as the pre Senior Bowl mocks had him. Now does this mean we an trade back slightly 12-15 to get him or do you feel he will shoot up to a top 10 guy

i think the interview process will be fine, i think he has cleaned up his act, im reluctant to say top 10 simply because of the lower competition he has faced in EKU though. a college kid getting busted doing party drugs, to me, just means he got caught, and with it happening multiple times, i can comfortably attribute that to him being a young knucklehead, ive been that guy before, it happens, late teens and young adults make bad choices, its part of life.

i think if a person reforms themselves between the ages of 18-22 then it speaks volumes, they are the most hardheaded of all people and they still saw that they needed to better themselves and took the actions to do so, in the long run i think it makes their character that much stronger. if he has any mishaps from here on out then i would avoid him at all costs, but if he keeps himself clean then i think hes a changed man. id take him top 10 in a heartbeat, i got him up there with stanley, treadwell, and ramsey.

He'll be similar to Randall Cobb in the sense that both are former quarterbacks that were able to rush for over 1,000 yards, then converted to receiver. Cobb, however, had the chance to play receiver for two years and show remarkable improvement.

Miller is a former quarterback and a very cerebral one at, so I don't doubt he can learn the position.

i am always very weary of former qb's switching to wr, especially so late in their careers, and i essentially give up on those who dont show some ridiculous jump as a wr, so ill admit i didnt even want us to look in braxtons direction..

but man he looks good at the senior bowl, theyre asking him to show some refinement and he certainly is, the athleticism was always there but the way he can glide his feet into his break and drop his hips and explode out of it is impressive, he doesnt even look like hes about to change directions and then BOOM hes gone

The report that I found to be the best and most encouraging was that he had already developed a wide array of releases against press coverage and has learned how to effectively used head fakes. These are some things that lifelong receivers can't even do. This is incredible development.

yeah a lot of times that is a knock on these superstar wr prospects coming out, and more often than not those guys may put up huge numbers but never learn how to do these things and it often times shows up in games.

the little bit that i saw from miller in his senior bowl film looked really good, hes now a total sleeper for me, id take a definite 4th round flier, maybe even a 3rd if there arent any prospects that we fell are "cant miss".

if you like braxton miller, its encouraging that ozzie seems to like these kinds of guys. troy smith was highly touted as a college qb but drew lots of pauses from gm's due to his size, ozzie bit. tyrod taylor was seen in a similar way but far more electrifying as a runner, but his passing game was subpar, ozzie took him. darren waller and tommy streeter, ridiculous upside but tumbled forever due to being incredibly raw and even though some had them as 5th round guys because of pure upside we took fliers in the 6th/7th. ozzie is not afraid to take these kinds of guys

The fact that he played last season in a small school and against less than great competition is no concern for me. He was dominant. He already proved in his sophomore year at Ohio State that he can be successful at higher level, as well.

Everybody is going to see another Tyler Locket in him, there are reports that he returns the ball like a long time pro.

The good thing is that he was smart enough to make the switch now.  Him being able to showcase himself as a WR is going to strongly help his case.

no concern for me either because we so often churn out small school beasts plus we know hes not some typical small school prospect, but id be willing to bet that his rap sheet combined with lower level competition will be off putting to some gm's. my worry there is, will ozzie be one of those gms?

yep, it came maybe a little late but it looks like hes making enough progress for that to not matter. i really would like to see more of this guy, ill have my eyes glued to him for the combine and OSU pro day

I am hoping for one of these two scenarios here, we trade back into the first and get Spence or stay at are spot in the second and pick Tyler Boyd

I promise you there is no way Noah spence gets past....I don't know, Pittsburgh which is a ghastly thought.

he is a first round talent and will be in play for us at six.

what if... just what if... we have been clamoring for a true #1 wr this whole time, and braxton miller turns out to be that guy after we take him in the 4th round...

At this point I don't care what round we draft a WR I just want ONE of Ozzie's wr picks to turn into a number 1 receiver instead of relying on older players near the end of their careers

Clark has done terribly against pretty much everybody, he doesn't have the footwork to be a tackle, he needs to be moved inside.

Yeah it looked that way, him matched up on Spence wasn't fair. The guys there even pretty much said it

Apparently Rankins has been dominant. I loved him on tape and I thought he was fantastic against the run, wasn't this high on him though. I almost put him in one of my previous mocks but I didn't think we needed another run stopping dlineman so I went with a pass rusher, maybe Rankins will turn out to be a lot better rushing the passer than I originally thought.

Apparently Drango is in the same boat which surprises me. I thought he'd be a good RT at least.

He'll not be there in the fourth. Early third late 2nd. Teams will be enamoured with his speed, and short area quickness I think.

Apparently no interior lineman can stop him and at one point, he was so quick that the center never even got out of his stance.

I may be getting him mixed up with someone else, but I had major concerns about how DeVante Parker would play against press coverage since he saw off man like 65% of the time. I thought he only had a little hop step at the line to even attempt to beat press. I know Parker had a solid rookie season, but he also played across from Landry, so as teams give Parker more attention and really get up in his face, I'll be curious to see how far he's progressed. Just so crazy that Miller already has alleviated those types of concerns.

Ozzie said he didn't want any more project types, but Miller isn't looking like a Tray Walker project. He's more like.... mmmm, a Breshad Perriman where the foundation is all there and he has a solid skill set, he just needs some polish and refinement in some of the finer areas. I'd definitely take a "flier"
