[News] Tray Walker: Rookie Year Full Of Lessons

Just hope he isn't going to be like C. Brown... all the tools but no confidence... would panic every time the ball was thrown his way... Fingers crossed on this one...

I've got high hopes for Walker, hopefully he can make an impact year 2 with Webb at FS and probably some changes coming in the secondary with FAs and draft picks.

I agree with @drew p, he never got a chance,Per HARBS comment

some players do not practice well but they know how to turn it on games time.

I think coach Frazier will become a huge asset for us.

If Walker amounts to nothing he'll always be known as the guy we drafted over Stefon Diggs

A fourth round pick for a "project" is somewhat of a gamble. Let's hope it pays off

True I agree (+1 your comment), but also in the 4th round Nichol State CB Ladarius Webb... I wanna see how he reacts with the ball thrown his way game time.

CB is one of the toughest positions to learn for a top level college player. The fact that Walker played for a small college with very limited competition and the fact that he was on the 53 man roster to start with tells me to be patient. I think he needs more time than usual to blossom and we owe him that! So please back off of him for some time.

We'll see more of him next season. There was no rush to put him on the field until he was ready or the only option. He's got size and speed. Must of did a good job if the QB never threw his way. They usually give them a look and then target them when they see a weakness. So in 8 snaps they didn't see anything worth chancing. I think he'll turn out to be a great value pick. Him and Jimmy at CB on a regular basis would be interesting to see. If he show he can do it.

The next Ramon Harewood is bad thing to be.

I'll be shocked and delighted if Walker becomes a solid contributor at any point next season. My perception of him is that he is a H/W/S gamble that probably won't develop (kind of like the late-round WRs we've drafted), but I sincerely hope he proves me wrong, and I'll gladly eat crow if he does.

Diggs had 2 good games and then didn't do anything the rest of the year because he can't get open against physical corners. Chris Givens had the same rookie season as Diggs and look where he is now....Same player so really not that big of a deal as you would claim. Easy to Monday morning GM - the Ravens chose Cedric Woodard over Tom Brady, Tavares Goodman over Jamal Charles, Christian Thompson over Josh Norman, Tandon Doss over Richard Sherman, Bernard Pierce over TY Hilton.

Man, my Monday morning GM team would crush your Stefon Diggs led team

Eh, he was pretty impressive. I'm not gonna call him that, but a lot of others will.

He averaged 3 catches for 32 yards in the last 10 games....I wouldn't call that impressive, I'd call that Chris Givens or Marlon Brown

Sooner or later one of these corners will do the homework to earn the big pay check. If I had a chance to earn that kind of money I would be watching film on all my opponents every day and banging on Edd Reed and Deon Sanders for any help I could get.
