[News] 2016 Complete List Of Ravens' 27 Free Agents

1.) Quit messing around and pay Tucker! he has won us so many games it's not even funny!

2.) negotiate a contract with KO, if it doesn't happen, franchise tag him as a guard! that is where he spent most of his time in 2015. This allows us to see how the draft shakes out and the realistic future of Monroe staying healthy enough to play. If he can't, we make KO our future LT. We can't just let a mega talent like that walk away.

3.) Attempt to do a deal with Aiken and if not, second round tender him. With the #1 receiver role, he showed a lot of great skill and promising hands to reel in tough catches. I like his potential a lot.

4.) Upshaw is a good player and is underrated in his duties outside of rushing the passer, so if we can, certainly ink him to a deal, but he is expendable though.

Agree with getting Tucker signed, wouldn't want to franchise KO (too expensive), agree that we'll sign or tag Aiken with a 2nd round tender, and unlike many here... I would also like to keep Upshaw "at the right price". He plays the JJ role and keeps Doom fresh and ready to terrorize QBs. This would allow us to use Z Smith more as a McPhee role

I maybe wrong, but the average of the top 5 guards is somewhere around $5-7 million. To pay that to possibly have your future LT is worth the price I think. Monroe's durability scares me and I am not sure if we want to see James Hurst being tossed like a rag doll into our franchise QB again lol

All Offensive linemen are in the same category for Franchise Tag purposes, so it doesn't matter what the top Guards get paid. The tag is based on the top paid OL, which are all Left Tackles and the number will be about $13m or more iirc. So any notion of franchising KO is silly.

They're going to use the Tag on Tucker if he doesn't agree to a long term deal by then. No other use of the Franchise tag makes sense. The Kicker Tag will be about $4.5m, which is around the annual value of the deal he's going to get anyway (look at Gostkowski deal from last year as a likely model) so the only disadvantage is that they can't use a signing bonus to push the cap money into future years, which the ravens should probably get away from doing anyway given the perpetual cap crises from pushing the cap money to future years. At some point they gotta pay the piper.

ryan jensen and maybe butler are the only 2 from the exclusive rights group that i would sign. restricted group would be kamar and trawick for his special teams play. unrestricted will be tough but im hoping they can sign osemele. cox, upshaw, wright, tucker and mcclellan with osemele and tucker being the 2 priorities.

The franchise tag for the Offensive Line is not broken down by position, so it is the same regardless of if you want him as a guard or tackle.  The tag number for 2015 was $12.943 million, and will be likely be higher for 2016.

What ever the Ravens do they have 8 months to put something together better than they did last year. As one young QB once said "Come on Man its just football"

I would love to see s re-sing KO.... I just don't believe that is going to happen???? I think drafting Tunsil or Stanley (ect) will provide a future T and a much lower price tag and while they are still relatively unproven... we seem to be stuck with Monroe bc his cap hit will be too high to let him go. SMH... that means we are un all likelihood going to lose KO bc of Monroe! I would love to see us send Monroe packing and find a way to keep KO but strictly from a financial perspective... I just don't see that happening?

Signing the ERFAs are quite cheap, so I think they'll possibly sign one or two others, for any player they think will at least compete for a roster spot.

The most valuable is K.O. However it might be too expensive to keep him. Tucker was 2-9 on field goals 50 yds or longer this season. I'm hoping it was just a down year. The organization has to keep him because the price for a kicker is relatively low compared to an OL man. He'll be signed or franchised as a second rounder. I don't think a team would want to forfeit their second rounder.

KO, Tucker, Wright, Upshaw, Givens and Cox need to be resigned out of the UFA's.

My best guess is we let KO go and let Urschel start. The ravens don't have much cap space.

Your best guess is they let Urschel replace Osemele? You think Urschel can fill those shoes? remember that LT is an important position and we do have Joe Flacco back there. If he starts taking hits again and goes down that's a huge chunk of cap space gone down the drain. Can't just throw in any guy to replace a player like kelechi.

Although I Urschel looks good he is not on the level of Kelechi. My guess is they either resign Kelechi or draft one 1st or 2nd round. Im hoping they resign him though, rare to get a player with his motor and fire. That's the kind of guy you want on your side during a fight.

I think Ozzie will find the money for KO. Really do. A guy that trains using Bus/Truck tires doesn't come around too often. They know he's versatile. I would be a sham to not pay big dude. Shame Sham all the same. I'm in my seat sayin WE Wanna EAT We Wanna EAT. lol

Tucker is the big one.

Tuckers a done deal. Non issue really. Kickers can only expect but so much. He'll get payed and if you noticed he ain't sweating no bullets.

Have no idea why so many ppl are high on givens. He was a huge dissapointment and didn't do what we brought him here to do. Shoot he did absolutely nothing. And he's a FA. No way we bring him back, I just don't see it. Why y'all like this guy so much?

Cutting monroe saves $2Million, better to keep him.  Flaccos deal will get done, i think Kelechis deal will be too much for the Ravens.

same thing there is little point to cutting Monroe.  I would keep Upshaw especially since replacing him would mean drafting a comparable player like Shaq Lawson and i don't expect there to be a big market for Upshaw saving us some cash.
