Actually, they aren't that far off.

Bradford's made $78M over six years, Joe's made $85.8M over eight years.

Depending on structure, this is either a good or a bad thing.

Its a good thing if there aren't any other year 2 or year 3 option bonuses like the last contract.

Everyone has to remember that his cap numbers the next three years were the highest collectively out of anyone in the whole NFL.

So his cap numbers are still going to come to be around $25 million every year. 

That number still puts him at or near the top of the league in terms of QB's.
