[News] 2016: Ravens Mock Draft Monitor 1.0

In terms of pass rusher or d-linemen in general, i would enjoy obviously Joey Bosa, Deforest Buckner and Emmanuel Ogbah if we trade back. Buckner after Bosa is my personal favorite because he has great size and can clog the lanes because of that and rush the passer as shown by his high sack total this last year.I'd rather have Hargreaves than Ramsey for the simple fact that Ramsey seems better at Free Safety. I like Stanley too but he's definitely not as much of a sure bet like Tunsil but I wouldn't be mad at that either. I like Treadwell too because he could solidify a receiving corps for the future. But we have other picks guys. We can't solve everything with one pick. I trust Ozzie and Co. And we still have compensatory picks.

About a month back I was hoping for Jaylon Smith or Ramsey but with Smith's injury and last year's first rounder not playing a snap then Ozzie is not going to risk him.

Ideally now if Ramsey is gone at 6 then there's hopefully a trade back for Hargreeves then use whatever later rounders we pick up coupled with the 37 pick to move up enough to take Smith

I seriously believe if Bosa, Tunsil, and Ramsey are gone, we will trade back for early picks. The top 50-100 players has a lot of promising talent. At that point what is the major difference in taking a Stanley or HG3 at 6, compared to moving back to get a Shaq Lawson, Alexander, or Buckner, plus doubling down in the second? Nabbing a combo of Apple, fuller, Floyd, Cravens, Dodd, Boyd, Thomas, spence, would all be great for our team and future.

NO NO NO NO NO.......................

All these guys are wrong except maybe on Ramsey.

Ravens are not taking a LT at 6,

Ravens will draft a pass rusher @6, or Treadwell WR.

Positions that impact the totality of the defense or offense. Gamechanging Transcendent Pass rusher, or WR Treadwell.

Pass rushers like

Bosa

Myles Jack

Floyd

Nkumdeche

Ogbah

Etc

That's what I thought u till I saw Stanley OT from N.D. The guy can ball! If peters and Hargreaves are gone by 6. Might be hard for Ozzie to pass up on Stanley knowing that some good pass rushers will be avaliable towards the end of the first. May I say suggest giving up a 4th to move back into the first round? Check out josh Doctson WR TCU just to stir up all your thoughts lol. If treadwell is gone Doctson may still be there later as well ;) Edited by Halshayeji

Okay here is my dark horse pick, if we sign KO before the draft, we select....Henry...Yup we have to get back to pounding the rock with a punishing RB....If we want to hold 4th quarter leads, you have to have a bruiser back there....Playoff time in bad weather gotta have that back to punish the Defense...

Henry is a better version of Eddie lacy. Some mocks have him falling to the end of the first. He's a dark horse for quite a few playoff contenders.

I seriously doubt the Ravens "are ready to move on" from Monroe. He's very good WHEN he's healthy. NOT financially feasible. If it can be done, sign KO and pray for Eugene to be healthy. It's an above average to good to excellent OL when everyone is healthy, with three decent backups. Of course, we know it's a major accomplishment for anyone on this team to make it through an entire season lately. I just don't see going offense early at all. We've seen how RBs (Forsett), WRs (Aiken), etc. can be found through a good FO, and high picks can be misses. Basically, the Ravens already have a first round rookie WR this year and have to go with some playmakers on D. Oh yeah, pick up some decent conditioning and training guys!

I'm staying clear of predictions until after FA is opened for awhile. We will get a better understanding of our intentions after the first couple weeks.

For all we know, we make a Boldin-like trade or Steve Smith like signing and it changes everything. Applies to any position really.

I hear ya... I'm feeling lucky lol ... I'm riding the Treadwell Train until the combine, after that I'll re-evaluate :D

I pray every night That Bosa slides to us like Leonard Williams did for the jets. That motor of his is supercharged on every play he is on the field.

So do I and I say that as a Wolverines fan. Bosa is the guy to have on your roster. He's a freak in the best possible way.

I doubt we'll add an OT in round 1. My guess is, if they are on board, either Jalen Ramsey or Joey Bosa. Knowing Ozzie, if at this spot there isn't anyone he considers to be a talent worth the spot, he's not afraid to trade back for benefits.

And there is no way we draft a RB in round 1 as someone mentioned. We have a truckload of them, although most finished on IR and I think we have good ones. There will be some broken hearts, because we can't possibly keep on the active roster that many - Justin Forsett, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Buck Allen, Terrance West.... how many RBs is it you want to keep?

Completely agree with what you say. Those three are the talent really worth a no.6 pick.

Don't forget Desmond King / Shalique Calhoun potentially at the beginning of the 2nd rnd too!

Also, beyond Ramsey, I think the combine will settle many of the rankings for CBs... That debate hasn't really settled yet IMO.

I've went from wanting a LT to now wanting Treadwell if he shines at the combine (just too sweet having Perriman, Treadwell, SSS, and our TE's) but as someone said earlier... things can change quickly based on what gets done and if an elite talent (Bosa / Ramsey) falls.

I am also happy with what we have at RB (I think they try to slip West on the practice squad)

I think Alexander raises his value the most at the combine, he seems so smooth and natural from what I saw of him

it can't be done. I see no way we go into the season with both KO and Monroe on the roster. It's gonna have to be one or the other. Unless Joe does somethin drastic with his restructure. .but even then I don't see it and that money would be better used elsewhere. I see Stanley as a real option at 6 if a few of the others are gone..And best believe if Tunsil somehow slips we will pounce immediately.

Better take the OT in round one. I don't see the good OT's lasting into round 2. A promising CB could be there into round 3.

Even for the #6 pick, you guys don't think treadwell is reaching? It's like picking need over BPA. It's not ozzies formula!

exactly..you just can't pass up the opportunity at a franchise LT..they don't grow on trees. It's not the sexy pick that everybody wants but it's the smart pick. And like you said there are several cbs, wrs, and a few pass rushers that can be had in the early second. I think there's an outside chance that Tunsil actually falls into our lap. If thats the case we shouldn't even hesitate. Edited by January J

We are definitely trading out of the sixth pick. All of the marquee talent will be gone. We need to many pieces since KO walked to be good.

He might be there in round 2.

I think only two backs are coming off in the first.
