Nkumdeche is a beast, I really hope we get him, he could really be that force this defense needs right now. Along with a versatile DT.

The old Ravens would but not the "New Ravens"  Why? "Nkemdiche was charged with marijuana possession last week after Atlanta police found seven rolled marijuana cigarettes in a hotel room tied to Nkemdiche. He fell 15 feet and suffered mild injuries after breaking a window in a room at the Grand Hyatt in Atlanta, according to a police report."

So its looking like Ronnie Stanley or Jalen Ramsey. Although they could surpise them and draft a DE. Either way, if we go defense in the early picks I'll be happy.

Not any worse than other NFL players/ and young people that make mistakes, live life and learn.

He signed a 5 year 37.5 million dollar contract after the 2013 season. He has 3 years left on the contract.

That is not an extension.

As I said in a earlier post I don't see the Ravens taking an OL. It is by far not our biggest concern and I think our OL didn't play that bad. We just had many injuries. I would hate the pick of Ronnie Stanley for two reasons. First I have seen some reviews where they say that one of his weaknesses is his finesse style against physical passrushers. In divisions like the AFC North you just can't play soft and being manhandled by physical players. This shouldn't fit our draft profile. Second, I think we just have too many holes on skillpositions to invest in an OL. These mock drafts will change with the combine and pro days but I think it's kind of strange that nobody mocks us a guy like Treadwell. Anyways I would be very happy with Ramsey or Hargreaves.

Could definitely see it happening and my gut says the same about keeping Monroe.

Same gut feeling has me thinking we go Treadwell if he impresses at the combine.

Question is do the Ravens want to focus on be able to out score teams or limit teams from scoring?

Treadwell & Perriman on outside, SSS in slot, and our tight ends would be hella good.

Only fear of getting a CB is the time it may take for them to become that potential shut down guy (although not a top 10 guy, it took Jimmy awhile to develop) Serious question: Do you think a CB at 6 would be ready immediately?

Thank you I couldn't have said this better myself. Please take the WR on this one Ravens. Laquon Treadwell will have an immediate impact as most offensive picks do. All defensive playmakers take time to develop. Even the greats Darrell Revis and so many others took time to develop. Put faith in Leslie Frazier and take a DB and pass rusher in later rounds. Once the pass rush comes back with T-Sizzle. I say don't take any risk trading back because someone could always trade up like the Dez Bryant. My thing is fix the problem you have always had at skill player than fix the problem you have always had. Our defense has played great our entire Franchise even this year a top ten. Offense needs to catch up!

Normally I would be right in line with this logic, it makes total sense, but not this year. I'm calling it now, Treadwell will be the pick.

I'm coming around to CB as the primary need. There's lots of moving parts at OL and WR. Think about the production the Ravens got from Kamar Aiken and a wounded WR corps. SSS is coming back. Perriman is complete X factor. I can't see WR in the first round with the mixed bag they've got in their hands.

On OL, we need to look at Monroe as serviceable, the potential dead money on his contract, and whether they can get KO resigned. The Ravens have also had a pretty high rate of success turning later round linemen into serviceable players. Another mixed bag, there's value at this position scatter through the draft.

CB and pass rusher are just not so easy to find. The Ravens arguably missed the Superbowl in the 2014 season because of CB. The offense was up by two touchdowns - TWICE - the same offense that has seen minimal turnover. The Patriots picked apart defense with trick plays and relentlessly going after Rashaan Melvin. Corner requires such a unique set of physical tools it's difficult (but not impossible) to train. Quality and depth at corner are essential to the current NFL.

Mark me down for a playmaker in the secondary to compliment J Smith!

I'm staying clear of predictions until after FA is opened for awhile. We will get a better understanding of our intentions after the first couple weeks.

For all we know, we make a Boldin-like trade or Steve Smith like signing and it changes everything. Applies to any position really.

I think the Ravens will make a trade with the Rams, sending our 1st and one of our 4th round picks for the Rams 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks. The Rams feel that they are just a good quarterback away from where the want to be. To get that QB they may have to jump ahead of the 49's. the Rams have 2 second round picks so they could live with giving up one and the Ravens have 4 fourth round picks. I think this draft, with all of the declared underclassmen coming out, is very rich with second round talent so there will be talent for grabs after the first. This move would give Ozzy 1 first, 2 second, 2 third and 3 fourth round picks, counting the compensation picks. If he could pull this off we would be in a sweet position and still picking at #15.

Rams don't need to jump ahead of the 49'ers because the 49'ers are happy with Kap. Chip Kelly is going to SF because he has the QB that he wants there. But with Bosa and Ramsey gone, Ozzie will trade back with someone.

I am becoming more of a fan of Miles Jack pairing up with CJ Mosley to lead this defense into the future. It would also give us flexibility when it is time for a new contract for Mosley. The physical attacking style of Mosley paired with the range, versatility, and athleticism of Jack could give this defense something special for years to come. Ramsey and Jack are the type of Athletes that could practically play anywhere on the field. Patrick Peterson esque. If either of them are available, I would say that fits the BPA that Ozzie swears by, but also fills a long term need. Trading back sounds great on paper, but we could be passing up on a HOF type player. Tunsil, Bosa, Ramsey, Jack will all be special players. Hopefully one falls to 6. If not Buckner fits a need and has a freakish frame with a good motor.

I think Dallas gets him.

People keep forgetting we go best player available. Do not see that changing regardless of desperate need in the secondary. I feel like 3 players are worth not trading back if they are there when are number is called. tunsil, HG3 and bosa,. Wouldn't surprise me in the least to trade out of the top 10 or 14. Not a great draft for "jump off the charts" prospects but a lot of early round (1-3) talent.

How fast is Treadwell?

Dear God, I hope we don't use the number 6 overall pick on a Wide Receiver. The evidence is plain that 1st round Ravens Wide Receivers just don't work out well.Travis Taylor & Mark Clayton never amounted to anything (certainly NOT 1st round talent), and Perriman's already missed an entire training camp, preseason, and regular season, all without even participating in full contact drills. I'm not giving up on the guy, but he has a long way to go and a lot to prove. Ozzie is great, but it appears that Wide Receivers are his draft Achilles heel (with the obvious exception of Torrey Smith, who was let go after 4 years anyway?!) I hope Ozzie sticks with defense or O Line for his 1st round selection. Those are the positions where he (typically) does best. Here's hoping we end up with another Reed, Lewis, Ogden, or Suggs. The Ravens are way overdue for a spectacular, All-Pro calibre draft pick and there really won't be any excuse if we don't knock this year's picks outta the park (definitely rounds 1 and 2). Go Ravens.

Okay here is my dark horse pick, if we sign KO before the draft, we select....Henry...Yup we have to get back to pounding the rock with a punishing RB....If we want to hold 4th quarter leads, you have to have a bruiser back there....Playoff time in bad weather gotta have that back to punish the Defense...

Doesn't have to be too sophisticated. Protect Joe, allowing him to do his thing. Other side of the ball,...CB's and pass rushers. If we could find a way to get a Kickbutt receiver, to help spread opposing defenses, that would be awesome!

Alexander is younger, faster, stronger and a better man to man cover corner. Look at the pass happy NFL and see what the big time Cb's get paid. What a team needs to do to acquire one and what they bring to the table. (see NE 2014 /Sea 2013).The pick is in, in my book!

correct me if im wrong..but last time i checked alexander was 22 and Hargreaves was 20.

NO NO NO NO NO.......................

All these guys are wrong except maybe on Ramsey.

Ravens are not taking a LT at 6,

Ravens will draft a pass rusher @6, or Treadwell WR.

Positions that impact the totality of the defense or offense. Gamechanging Transcendent Pass rusher, or WR Treadwell.

Pass rushers like

Bosa

Myles Jack

Floyd

Nkumdeche

Ogbah

Etc

and why not take an LT at 6? Bc its not sexy? And if Tunsil were there? And you really think any of those pass rushers will be worthy of pick 6? (Aside from bosa)

Ravens dream draft 4.0

Rnd 1 Treadwell WR/Bosa DE Ramsey S/Cb

Rnd 2 Shallique Calhoun/Kevin Dodd DE/OLBrs Josh Doctson WR, King CB

Rnd 3 Scooby Wright lbr/ Le'Raven Clark LT, Yannick Ngakwe DE/Olbr

Rnd 4 Braxton Miller WR,

Rnd 4

yeah no thanks to most of that, certainly ain't no dream draft. And Fyi king is going back to school.

Nkumdeche is a beast, I really hope we get him, he could really be that force this defense needs right now. Along with a versatile DT.

i just don't see it bro.i actually think he will end up being the biggest bust of the draft..he has way too many flaws..and thats not even mentioning his off the feild concerns. I dont think ozzie will even look his way..too many red flags

Why would you wanna go WR first round?

Im putting you in timeout..now go to your room. Lol

and why not? There are several logical reasons why we could go that route. I could name 5 off top.

Dear God, I hope we don't use the number 6 overall pick on a Wide Receiver. well I guess we should never draft a receiver in the first ever again. It's settled.

Some of you just blow my mind. But what would a forum be without differing opinions huh? This is the way I currently see it..Certainly subject to change after FA and the combine. Buckner or Ramsey at 6(if bosa and Tunsil are gone ) and treadwell, alexander , Myles jack, and maybe even Noah Spence as tradeback targets. ( depending on how far we jump back.) In the 2nd I would target Boyd - Apple- Fuller - or yannick, just to name a few. In the 3rd I'd look at sterling sheppard, vonn bell, and thompson among others. And some notable mentions would be Cyrus jones, Joe dahl, and Kenyan drake.
