[News] 10 Intriguing Ravens Stats From 2015 Season

48 posts in this topic

Hard to believe that Tucker was the best kicker in the league this year. What kind of variables were they using to make that work? Best inside of 40 and with extra points maybe.

Tucker had a great year, but to us we were so use to him hitting the 50 plus yarders that I gives us a false impression of his season. He kicks the straightest ball of any kicker and it was beneficial to our draft position that he missed a few long FG's that may have pushed us further down in the draft. Our biggest success from the past season is our position in the draft (could have been even better). With the shape we're in with FA's, Tucker and Kelechi are must signs IMO.

I know he had a great season , but the best in the league ? And if we retain KO we will be in even worse shape in FA.. I just don't see it happening..unless we cut Monroe and he takes a friendly hometown deal.

Well now we know the 10 steps to take to make a 5-11 team. Number one pass defense in the second half? Yea 4 of those team suck as bad as the Ravens.

We hit on all the fancy yardage stats, but how about what matters? Points, Points Allowed, and Wins. Sorry, but Trestman's offense was not built for winning this year. Blame injuries, but he needs to control clock, run the ball, and keep our defense fresh. We need to take more deep shots and go for the kill when we have the lead. Pees did not fare well against Good QB's.

This shows what all real fans know this is a very talented team. With a solid offseason and a few key players returning from injures and producing we will back in the sb contender conversation next year.

The Number 1 STAT of intrigue to be concerned with is wins and losses. Our record of 5-11 tells us just how good our season was.

WOW.... if Maxx was that... then Boyle had to be close! TWO Very good TE's coming back next season to continue to compliment Gilmore! I think we are very talented at the TE position.

Even if he gets cut, there's still a lot of dead money to deal with. Sure, some of that could be offset w/a new, lower salary, but why would he do that? Sorry, that makes no sense. Nice try, though.

not sure i follow..are you referring to Monroe or KO? The dead money is an over rated issue, and I'm sure he wouldn't do that.. exactly why I said I don't see it happening..

The Ravens have been keeping some players they shouldn't and passing on keeping some they should. We have average players out there. When you look at our 2 Championship teams there were average players with a group of great players and great leaders. The leaders on the field now...Suggs and Joe. We have to start spending the money better.

You know....Flacco won the Super Bowl behind the best line he ever had. The win at Cleveland hurt our chances of getting the best OT in the draft.

Not much chance of that, I imagine. Personally, I am not a fan of his. He seems to turn it off and on when he feels like playing hard. Also, as much as I like the RB's we have, I do agree that it'd be nice to have a big bruiser for when we need him, which we don't have. I believe in the old adage that "the run game sets up the pass and the pass sets up the run". If teams don't fear your passing game, it's tough to get your run game going. The play calling (?)comes into play, also. When we become too predictable, it's tough to get going. I also think (sorry Flacco worshippers) that Joe needs to do a much better job of not staring down his receivers, which he does all the time. Oz and crew will do their best this off season. We need help in quite a few areas. It'll be fun reading all the "Crock" Drafts for the next few months.

I agree

Do you know how many games I lost because he didn't show up?

Whenever I would catch their games I would always see Eddie Lacy going in. Although I do have a friend that is a Die Hard Pacs fan, and he pretty much says the same thing you are saying, that Eddie Lacy is 50/50
