The 2016 AFC North

Its actually debatable but Steve Smith is easily better than any of their WRs, Aiken and Ginn are kneck and kneck but Olsen breaks the tie. His weapons aren't great but they're not awful either.

Well, people around here claim he has nothing, which isn't true judging by your post. Especially with Olsen on their roster. Oh, and the Panthers OL looked great in that last game against Arizona. I'm glad Oher landed on his feet.

I can. Aiken proved to be a viable three, never doubt SSS and BP has a lot of potential. Not saying I wouldn't mind if we ignore the WR position, but given Ozzie's track record, the most we'll probably get is a Marques Colston type of signing. If this is the case then our front office clearly isn't thinking about the future because this has to be Seniors last season. Oh, and the team is really high on Jeremt Butler as well.

Wouldn't shock me at if we didn't add a single piece to the WR corps other than an aging vet, and I'd be PISSED.

Oz already said he'd add 2 more pieces in the draft or FA. I am impressed by the growth that Aiken showed as a player, becoming a reliable WR, but he is no playmaker. Counting on an aging SSS and rookie (yes, he's still a rookie, if he never stepped on an NFL field) with an odd injury history is risky. I don't see Ozzie doing that, even with his bad history of draft WR.

Try and try until you succeed. We eventualy landed Joe and just think of all the duds we signed to play QB for the Ravens before him.

The other thing people aren't considering is the health of the players and who was actually available.  Cam got nothing out of Benjamin this year, Joe got nothing out of Pitta or Perriman.  Of the 700 snaps Joe played, He had Pitta and Perriman for zero, SSS for 350, Campanaro for 50, Crockett Gilmore for 580, Max Williams for 11, etc.  The top 5, so basically the weapons Flacco had the majority of the time, were Gilmore, Aiken, Givens, Williams, and Marlon Brown.  Cam had no Benjamin, but Corey Brown played 750 snaps, Ted Ginn 670, Funchess 500, Cotchery 400.

That's for sure true, his group without Perriman, Gilmore and Smith Sr. were extremely underwhelming, easily worse than Cam's

Steelers - Always dangerous.  When you have Roethlisberger, Bell and Brown you always have a chance.  That won't change anytime soon.  Their defense should be improved in 2016 and expect at least 4 big additions in FA and draft to addess their leak rush D and secondary.  Their OL will get some much needed attention as well.  They'll continue to compete hard for the Dicvision and I don;t expect them to miss the post season if healthy.

Bengals - This is a team built for the AFC north and has had the most success overall in the past 6 seasons.  They are, however, NOT built for the post season.  It's certainly a Marvin Lewis problem since he's been there for ever and its the same story no matter the complexion of the team.  Injuries played a factor again, but as long as they keep winning the division and making the playoffs Marv is safe...and dangerous

Browns - This team has been in constant transition since it was re-established in 1999.  You cna;t build a winning team without continuity.  Period.  However, Hue Jackson could be the coach that delivers them.  I've been an advocate of his since he was Flacco's QB coach.  He's seeking to change the teams culture which exactly what needs to happen.  That will depend on Haslam and how well Jackson can manage his GM.  Yes, I said that right.  You don't often see a team hire a HC before a GM and that's significant.  If Jackson can;t turn that team around with the talent and resources from 15 seasons of drafting high then no one can.

Ravens - Hard luck dictated a lot of 2015.  When you have 14 games decided by a score or less that's not screaming that major changes are needed.  However, elite level talent was concern as injuries piled up.  In the past quality of depth got us into 5 of the last 6 playoffs we participated in and were the deciding factor in missing them in the remaining two.
