No matter how well he do @ year 3, i want us to not spend alot of guarantee money on this guy.

He doesnt have to frame to be a long term receiver. Amendola-2.0

No worries Mon! Campy will be fine the Ravens can utilize him better to avoid injury because he has very good open field abilities!

Wanna avoid M R I's on a weekly basis with WRs go more down field because throwing to WRs 5 and 10 yds from the line of scrimmage gets them ran down like road kill! Just open it up don't be scared LOL!

He can catch and he's quick but he needs to figure out how to stay healthy ... here's hoping he does.

Agreed, maybe he needs to learn how to duck or at least use that quickness to avoid big hits

I would really like it if we take him off the return team. Maybe that will help with the injuries. I personally would like us utilize a player that's more explosive. Camp looks slow returning the ball.

I think the Ravens organization needs to figure out how to keep their personnel healthy.  Two straight years with nearly two dozen people on IR.  There's an institutional problem going on.

I put Camp getting hurt as a prime example of why Flacco made need to be assessed as a QB. Campanaro is a great WR when healthy, but he is a smaller guy. Joe Flacco throws touch throws leaves him all other WR's susceptible to big hits. The reason Camp gets an article is because he makes plays. This is why I've been saying the Ravens should be scouting for toughness more than anything with Flacco as QB. You can't do much but brace for hits with touch throws. All WR's need to be durable and tough but get the ball there so WR's can better protect themselves. FO sees that clearly in likenesses in Boldin transition to Smith! Thats why I say Joe Flacco needs Laquon Treadwell. They need to get him because he has the toughness of Anquain or Steve Smith! You missed out on Dez Bryant because the Cowboys traded up to take him from us. Don't make the mistake with No.6 pick. Defense is nice, but you have to get somebody in case T-Sizzle gets hurt again, but you do have a pass rusher (He is not going to start even if you do draft him in 1st round). We do need an LT depending on K.O. CB is an extreme need, but the WR you are looking for has presented himself get him.

I understand why you are saying this but look at what happens to receivers who play this role that the ravens said they wanted Campanero to be :Wes Welker, Julian Eddleman, Danny Amendola all get hurt regularly when they play this role. It goes with the position. You are right in saying that they need to be tough but it is only a matter of time till even the toughest guy playing this role gets taken out. The hits are too hard on this role and come to fast. He corrected the issue he could with his training but getting a crushed disk is not on him. He gets another chance. What we need desperately is speed.

Camp is a "Playmaker". The Ravens need "Playmakers"!

He should have only been out 3 games with the minor back injury but the whole Periman debacle put him on IR. He is in the same boat as many players on the team that have the talent to play. If they stay healthy then they are in and if they dont then they are out.

Players will be better protected and stay healthier as soon they collectively find their rhythm. Some of the touch passes are to give some receivers time to locate the ball/get separation and throwing off back foot from pressure. Many times, especially early, it was too obvious where the ball was going when in passing situations, but again due to guys not getting separation. A better running attack and less playing from behind could also balance the load to keep teams guessing much more. Campanaro is a great WR to have but at some point you need to evaluate long term value for the roster position. I'm sure he'll show up and compete hard this year because I do not believe for a second his job is safe and he knows it. He'll have a chance to win the job but if it comes down to him and another player pretty much tied for the spot, the health factor might be the straw that broke the camels back.

He's probably correct in assessing this year as his make-or-break year. He does wonderful things on the field; he just hasn't been able to stay on the field for more than a couple of games. Here's hoping he gets the right combination of training/rhythm (or whatever) down this year and stays on the field to contribute. We could really use his skill set.

I think most Raven fans realize that the Only issue with Camp is the injuries. He is, obviously, So talented and he really does have certain abilities that no other receiver on our team has. I'm a big fan of his, but even my patience has its limits. I think Camp's Only chance to make this team again is to stay on the field. I hate to say it, but his history doesn't seem to indicate that that is promising. I'm big time hoping for better.
